To be able to talk about birthday with others freely.
Contents:
Words of months and dates :January February...December,first second third....
Sentences:When is your birthday ? My birthday is....
Activities:
Talk about birthday of yours and do a survey of others.
Procedures:
1 Review and lead-in
Showing pictures of festivals,ask them to say its months and dates.
Playing game:The teacher saying months on cards,if he is right,students read it,if not, keep silent .
2 New lesson
The teacher saying about his birthday and families’ as examples.
Ask some students’s birthdays.
Students ask others’ birthdays around.
3 Practise:
Do a survey about birthday in the class and speak out in the class,the more the better.
4. Homework
Make a card of your families’birthdays and talk to share with others.
