Module 5 Unit 1 Can you be my Chinese pen friend?教学设计
教学内容:
外研版新标准小学英语(三年级起点)六年级上册第5模块第一单元的内容。
教材分析:
本课是功能型的交际训练课,课文通过Daming、Simon、Laura的对话向同学们介绍了“怎样交笔友以及怎样介绍自己的笔友”,对话内容较为简练,语言实用性较强。
教学目标:
1). 知识与技能
a.基本能听懂、会说词汇:pen friend pleased address
b. 会用I can…,I can’t…讲诉各自的能力。
c. 掌握Can you…?的语言结构,并会做答: Yes, I can.\No, I can’t.
d. 能听懂、会说Can you be my Chinese friend?,部分同学能通过介绍自己的能力情况结识新笔友.
2).过程与方法
通过学生自主、合作的学习方式,培养小学生爱交朋友的习惯,发展广泛的兴趣,在交流与合作中共同进步成长。
3).情感态度与价值观
培养学生在活动中体会英语学习的乐趣,培养学生学习、生活的自信心,培养学生热爱生活、对异国文化的了解、兴趣。
教学重点:
能听懂并理解句型:Pleased to meet you! I can speak some English. Can you speak English? Can you be my Chinese friend? Can I write to you ?
能运用句型:I can…. I can’t….Can you…? Yes, I can.\No, I can’t.
教学难点:
能灵活使用情态动词can来介绍自己及他人的能力结识新笔友。
课时:1课时
教具:单词卡、教学光盘、空白的名片若干张、 多媒体课件。
教学过程:
Step1:Warm up
1. Greetings.
T:Hello,boys and girls!My English name is Apple.You can call me ‘Apple’.Now can you tell me your name?
T:This girl,please.What’s your name?
S:I’m ...
T:Nice to meet you!
S:Nice to meet you,too!
T:This boy,please.Can you tell me your name?
S:Sure!My name is...
T:Pleased to meet you!(Lead him to say Pleased to meet you,too!’)

Ask several students the same question then lead them to say out’ Pleased to meet you, too’

2. Sing a chant together.

Step2:Presentation
1. Lead in:
T:Wonderful,kids!I think that all of you can speak and write English.But can the panda speak English? Who can speak English? Let’s have a look.
Play the cartoon of Activity1 on the computer.Let the students watch carefully and find the answer.
2. Show the task
T:Yes,the panda can’t speak English, but our old friend Daming can speak some English.Now he is making a new pen friend in New York.(出示卡片pen friend) Do you know the Chinese meaning?

Learn the word.
T:Then do you want to know how to make a pen friend? Let’s learn together。(板书课题)After learning you should try to make a pen friend.
3. New text
(1)Work in groups
T:Now open your books and turn to page 26.Read the text of part 2 by yourself then underline the unknown words.Solve those words in your group.You can search in a dictionary,you can guess the meaning according to the neighbor sentences and so on.

(2)Listen and repeat

(3) Listen and answer some questions

(4)Read and circle the sentences with “can”

T:Have you finished? Who can say out the sentences?(板书在黑板上)Read these sentences together.教师及时指导发音。
(5)Sum up the using of “can”
T:Can you say out the same places in these sentences?
