Unit4 I want to be an actor. 说课稿 Ladies and Gentlemen: It’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you . My name is Gong Shengqin. I am NO. 4. The content of my lesson is << Go for it >> Book2 , Unit 4, Section B1a---2c. I will divide my topic into five parts. They are Analysis of teaching material, Teaching aims, Teaching methods and Studying ways , Teaching procedure and Teaching special features. PartⅠ. Analysis of the Teaching Material教材分析 1. Status and Function教材地位和作用 This is the third lesson of this unit. The main idea of this lesson is how to describe the jobs. This is an interesting topic and it is related to our daily life. So I think it will raise students’ learning interest. It’s very important to learn this lesson well. 2. Analysis of the students学情分析 The students in Grade Seven have learnt English for more than half a year. They know some English, but some of them didn’t learn it well. Especially listening and speaking. In this lesson ,I will mainly train their abilities of listening and speaking Before this lesson , students have learned Section A. So it is not difficult for them to learn this lesson. 3. Teaching Importance重点 To master the key key. To understand and use the target language 4. Teaching Difficulties难点 To enable the students to use the target language 5. Teaching Aids教学具 I will use computer, recorder, some pictures and stars as rewards to help me achieve the aims. PartⅡ Teaching Aims 目标分析 (1).  Aims of knowledge知识目标 Key vocabulary: exciting, dangerous, busy, fun, difficult, boring,be interested in, want to be Target language: What do you do? I’m an actor. What does he do? He’s a doctor. What do you want to be? I want to be an actor. What does he want to be? He wants to be a bank clerk. What do you think of the jobs? (2).  Aims of Ability 能力目标 a. Ask the Ss to make up a similar dialogue. b. Improve their four skills. c. Develop their ability of communicating. (3). Aims of emotion情感目标 a. Arouse their interest in learning English. b. Help them to make the future plans. Part Ⅲ.Teaching Methods and Studying Ways教法和学法分析 1、Teaching Methods教法 1. Communicative teaching method 2. Student--centered teaching method 3. “Task-based” teaching method 2、Studying Ways学法 1. I will teach the Ss how to be successful language learners. 2. And let the Ss pass "Observation—Imitation—Practice " to study language. 3. Learn the new language by listening, speaking, reading and writing . Part Ⅳ.Teaching Procedure教学过程 Step1 Preparation激发兴趣 ,激活思维,轻松导入 Theoretical basis : The multimedia teaching method (2) team cooperative learning teaching mode (理论依据:①多媒体教学法 ②小组计分竞赛合作学习教学模式) Purpose of my designing: Through the dialogue between teachers and students, the game ,song and a word competition, attract the students’ attention and create a relaxed atmosphere, It will be a good beginning of the new lesson. (设计意图:通过师生对话,游戏多媒体动画,单词竞赛在最短的时间内调动学生的兴趣,引发学生的注意力,活跃课堂气氛,为新课的导入准备了良好的开端。) 1.Have a free talk with Ss .Such as: Good morning…… How are you? What is the weather like today? What is the date today? What does your father do ? 2.Play a game “swimming fish”. Choose two students to lead the next song. 3.Sing a song “If you are happy”. 4.Have a word competition about jobs. Encourage the Ss who did well in this step, and give them some stars as rewards. Step2 Presentation and Practice边学边说,正音操练,强化能力 Theoretical basis : (1)The multimedia teaching method (2)Task-based learning method (理论依据:①多媒体教学法 ②任务教学法) Purpose of my designing: Through the vivid pictures , make students easily master the new knowledge, improve their abilities of listening and speaking, develop their communicative ability, it is the foundation of the next step. (设计意图:通过生动的图片来学习,使学生轻松 地掌握了新知,精讲精练,边讲边练,运用媒体正音并操练,巩固语言知识,提高把握语篇能力,为获得交际能力,为下一步对话练习打下扎实基础。) 1. Use the different voice and pictures to review the dialogue in Section A. Lead in the new words. Suppose some situations to help Ss understand the language points . And I’ll teach them to read the words and sentences. Then do activity 1a and check the answer. I will use a chant to help the students master the new words. 3.After that, listen to the tape and finish activity 2a—2b. . 4. Listen and repeat the conversation . 5. Ask Ss to read the listening material. Step3 Production(运用所学,创设新景,实现交际) Theoretical basis: 1. Communicative teaching method 2. Audio-visual teaching method 3. “Task-based” teaching method (理论依据:①任务型教学法 ②合作学习方式 ) Purpose of my designing: It will very helpful to develop the Ss’ ability of communicating and co-operation .This is an advanced designing, and it will make the language from input to output. If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their speaking. 设计意图:学生通过完成任务达到综合探究、实际应用所学新知识的目的。这是拔高的一种设计,是对课文的一个创新和升华,使语言由输入变为输出,使本节课学习进入了高级语言的实践阶段,激发了同学们的学习兴趣,如果学生能很好的完成,他的口语将受益。 1.In this step I’ll give the Ss a free space to show their abilities. Ask the students to dream their future jobs. 2.Let the Ss make the similar conversation in pairs and act out group by group. Then find out which group will act it out well. They can act in group ,by chant or in groups. I’ll choose the best and give them stars. Step4 Progress(巩固练习,自评互评,课外练习) Theoretical basis: Task-based” teaching method(理论依据:任务型教学法) Purpose of my designing: To check the knowledge that Ss have learned in this lesson. Cheer for the winners, encourage students to take an active part in the competition, reflect the team cooperation spirit. (设计意图:从知识的巩固到运用,再次加深了知识点的巩固和提高。为获胜者鼓励祝贺,鼓励学生参与竞赛,体现了小组合作精神。) 1. Ask student to do some exercise .Then I will choose one student to check the answers. 2. Appraise by themselves ,by teacher , or by the group leaders. Choose the best group. Congratulate them and give them a papercutting. 3. And the last, summary I will ask them what they have learnt in this lesson and do the homework :write:How to make my dream job come true? Part V Teaching special features教学特色 During my teaching,I’ll try my best to get my class alive and encourage the students to talk with each other in English. I think the general aim of English teaching is to improve the ability of using English. And I’ll use this to guide my teaching.
