To listen again to check A2’s answers. 3.To practise oral English about what they often do after school Teaching focus: Practise their listening and learn details about sports Teaching difficulties:Listen for general information on a radio about sports Teaching aids: a recorder,some tickets,some pictures Step One: 预习作业&预习交流 一、让我们看看本节课的新词汇吧,读一读,译一译,背一背,默一默! 1.table tennis 2.else 3.lot 4.fun 5.a lot =a lot of 6.have fun=have a good time=enjoy oneself 二、你是小小翻译家吗? 1、ask his students about their favourite sports 2、write the correct letters in the boxes 3、listen to the conversation 4、check your answers 5、many of my students 6、be good at =be expert at=do well in 7、talk about your after-school activities 8、make me feel great 9、what about=how about 10、play volleyball with my friends 11、read a lot of interesting books 12、Reading is fun. 三、请小组合作,练一练教材P26B 内容。 Teaching procedures: Step Two: 交流展示&点拨提高 1.In summer holidays , did you have a good time? Did you play any sports? I visited Shanghai Water Garden. Look! Here is the ticket. Look at this ticket. This is the name of the place. I think it is a good place for you to swim because it is very interesting and exciteding. Would you like to play other sports?( Ss look at the pictures.Listen to the teacher and read and try to remember some new words and phrases.Check the answers.) 2. Get Ss to find out more information about sports. Then use the new words and phrases to tell his /her classmates. (Ss practice with the new phrases.) 一 .Presentation 1.Show Ss three posters.Work in pairs. Ask Ss to practise like this: A: What’s the name of the sports? B: It’s___________ A: Do you like it? B: _____. A:Who likes swimming? B:______. A: Which sports star do you like best? B:________. 2. Ask one or more Ss to find out more information about each of the sports. 3.Spend a little time talking about other sports in China.(Ask Ss to answer & write them on the blackboard.) 二.Discussion Mr Wu wants to complete his notes about his students’ hobbies. Listen to his note to help him to finish it . Then discuss in groups of four to check the answers. 三.Listening 1.Play the recorder & ask Ss to listen for sports to complete the table. 2. Ask Ss to check answers in pairs , then check answers as a class. 3.Give help & informations if Ss have problems. Play the recorder again if necessary. 4. Help Mr Wu complete his notes.Then check the answers. 5. Refer Ss to read B and then ask some questions: What would you like to do after school? What else do you like to do?
