Referring likes and dislikes, more topics are given for the Ss to write about themselves. 3. To review the plural forms of nouns. 学情分析 The students have learned in this unit the patterns and words used to express likes and dislikes on food, actually the teacher can help them to broaden the topic of likes and dislikes to other items like sports, colors, TV dramas etc. of themselves and people around them. 教学重点 To help the Ss to write a short passage on likes and dislikes. 教学难点 More words and expressions can be taught to the students as long as they are not too difficult for them to understand and memorize. 教 具 Blackboard ,PPP 教 学 过 程 教学内容(以PPT为依据) 教 师 活 动 学 生 活 动 修 改 点 1. Lead-in and review 2.Learn to write a short passage on one’s preference on food. 2. Review the rules for singular forms of countable nouns to be transformed into their plural forms especially the irregular transformation. 3. To broaden the topic of preferences to sports and color and not only about oneself but also about people around them. 5.Homework Some pictures of the food are presented on the screen for the Ss to review the structures used to express likes and dislikes. Explain the instructions of 3b Ask several Ss to tell the rules first then correct and complement or emphasize the points if necessary. Ask students to brainstorm words and expressions on sports and colors. Some structures on the likes and dislikes of both oneself and others are presented on the screen for the Ss to refer to and used on their short passage. One to 2 volunteers are asked to show us their work. Ask Ss to finish exercise on 随堂练,课堂练习册,绩优学案 Make conversations in pairs asking each other whether they like some food or not for breakfast/lunch/supper. Then according to each other’s answers finish the chart in 3a. Single work: to finish 3b on the basis of the answers you’ve got in 3a. Show the class your work Try to recall the rules from their memories then re-consult the chart on P86. Then try to finish Task 1 in self-check. Check the answers. Try to write a short passage in which oneself and other people’s likes and dislikes on food, sports and colors are introduced.
