1．在非真实性条件句中的用法
1）表示与现在事实相反

2) if的省略
如果条件句中有were, had, should 等助动词，可将if省略，而把were, had或should置于句首,来表达以if引导的条件句的相同意思。
例如：
Should it rain/were it to rain tomorrow, the meeting would be put off.
Had he seen you yesterday, he would have returned your book.
2. 使用虚拟条件句时应注意以下几点：
1) “错综时间条件句”：当主句与从句的动作发生的时间不一致，动词的形式要根据它所表示的时间做出相应的调整。
Eg: If you had asked him yesterday, you would know what to do now.
从句与__________事实相反, 主句与___________事实相反。
If you __________ (study) hard before, you ___________ (be) a college student now.
2) 含蓄条件句
有时为了表达的需要，在虚拟语气中并不总是出现if引导的条件句，而是通过其它手段来代替条件句。常见的引导词有：with，without(= but for), otherwise，or
