　Lesson 4 Where are they?

　　本课将涉及到谈论某人或某物的位置。如何描述事物所处位置是本课的重点。
　　一、教学目标（Teaching aims）
1.学习询问某人某物的位置，理解掌握方位介词的含义和使用。
2.能够更为熟练的使用现在进行式表达正在进行中的动作。
　　3.“四会”词句：
　　where, on, in, under, behind, over there, swing, slide, seesaw ,tree.
　　Where is/are…?
　　They are on the swings. 　They are on the slide.
　　4.“三会”词句：
　　game, about, children, any
　　Are there any children under the tree?
　　They are playing games.
　　二、教学重、难点（Key points and difficult points）
　　1.重点掌握句型Where is/are…?的正确使用。
　　2.能够正确理解on, under, behind, over there和in等方位介词的含义，并能够准确使用这些方位介词来表达物体所处的位置。
　　三、教学用具（Preparations）
　　1.教具：录音机、录音带、多媒体课件
　　2.学具：课本、笔、文具盒等学习用品。
　　四、教学过程（Teaching process）
　　(一)复习导入
1.热身（warming up）
1)儿歌导入
Teacher says: Hello,boys and girls! It’s nice to see you again. How are you today?(I’m fine ,thank you)So stand up and sing with me .(学生随老师舞蹈唱歌)
Follow Me! Follow me！Hands up,hands up!
Follow me！Hands down,hands down!
Follow me！wave your arms!
Follow me！Bend your knees!
Follow me！Turn right,turn right!
Follow me！Turn left,turn left!
Follow me！Jump up and down!
Follow me！Turn around!
2.新课展示（New presentation）
单词教学 突破目标一
where, on, in, under, behind, over there
The ways to show new words:
Teacher says: Yeah! It’s wonderful!(学生鼓励自己) Sit down,please.(教师给予肯定让学生坐下)OK! Now Let’s begin our class. Oh my God! oh, no. Where is my English book?（教师故意将书搁到凳子上，假装找不到书）where? where?(假装找书)Show the word where.（找到书放到桌子上）Show on the chair.
互动（教师把书放桌兜里，问学生，也让学生也做；然后找笔，笔在椅子下教学under，然后将笔装到文具盒，问笔在哪；文具盒藏到门后面问文具盒在哪。）Use ： Where is my English book? Where? Where ? Oh ,it’s here .On the chair. Where is your book? (书放桌子里)Where is my book now? Oh ,here, in the desk. please put your book in the desk? Where is your book?(找笔)Where is my pen ?Please help me look for my pen? Under the chair .(捡起笔掉到桌子下)Where is the pen now? Under the desk.(捡起笔搁进文具盒)where is the pen now?(让学生照做)（将文具盒藏到门后）where is the pencil case? Behind the door.(将笔，书文具盒都放远处)Where are they? Over there.
3.出示公园图片，询问学生在公园里见到过哪些游乐设施，引出本节课的新单词：swing,　slide, seesaw. tree
4 操练 1)图片展示 2)试读单词 教授读词方法eg:s-wings /s-li-de/see-saw/tr-ee 3)教师领读个别学生读，在老师的帮助下说出相关短语或句子make a word or make a sentence.
教师领读，男女分读，整体领读，念三遍，男女分别领读单词接龙，听写单词读给同伴（Teacher says :your pen in your hand, listen to write on your left hand ,then read to your partner.）
　句型教学 突破目标二
看图填词 进行对话 出示题目 进行听课文
　1.听课文录音两遍，要求学生听完后，就所听内容回答问题：Who are they? Where are they?
　2.课文的第一部分：
　　—Where are Linda and Mary? Do you know, Tom？
　　—Yes, They are over there. On the swings.
　　内容比较简单，学生可通过跟读录音掌握，提问学生这几句话的汉语意思。
　　3.课文的第二部分：
　　—What about Li Dong and Zhao Yu?
　　—Look! They are on the slide.
在这里提醒学生注意What about Li Dong and Zhao Yu?其实是与第一部分中的Where are Linda and Mary?表达的是同一个含义，只是为了避免表达方式上的雷同。
　（四）作业
　　1. 《活动手册》第Ⅲ题。
　　参考答案：①seesaw ②slide ③swing ④behind ⑤wait ⑥tree
　　2.给家长读所学对话。
　　3.听录音，记“四会”句子
