Step I Listening steps
Before listening to the tape，play a game “What job do I do ?”
1. Give you each two minutes to think of a job: its necessary qualifications, experience and its expectation.
2. One describes a job, but in the description do not mention what it is. Your partner should try to guess what it is.
3. Swap places and let the second person do the same.
4. Now listen to the tape.
5.Summarize the listening material---father of the Chinese space programme  -----its development ----Wang Yaping ?

四步作文法
【题目要求】假如你是李华，听说你的美国笔友Jim 最近沉溺于电脑游戏，你很担

心，请根据下面的提示，给Jim写一封100词左右的英语书信，
内容包括：
1.Jim过去功课好，积极参加学校活动，现在却对学习没有兴趣，不专心听讲；
2.也许玩电脑游戏能使人放松，但沉溺于其中会占用学习时间，而且对身体健康有害；
3.具体建议。
注意：1.信的格式已为你写好，不计入总词数；
      2. 可适当增加细节，以使行文连贯。

   劝说信：劝说信是书信的一种，是改变别人观点的一种写作形式。进行此类写作时，首先应找出证据来支持你的观点。你可以和家人、朋友 或同学交流，亮出自己的观点，同他们辩论，最后说服他们。
一般来说，劝说信的写作方法是：
1.形式要简洁，通常由称呼（Salutation）、正文（Body）、结束语（Closing）和签名（Signature）组成。
2.开门见山，直入主题。  
 3.给出希望对方采取或中止某种行为的理由。
4.语气要柔和、中肯，要让对方考虑你的想法或建议，并付诸行动，“以理服人”是关键。
5.如有必要可以给出自己的合理建议。
一．       构思谋篇
劝说性写作：书信  1 表示问候和关心I’m sorry to hear that…
                  2 指出危害…but if you spend too much time on it…
                  3 提出建议I hope you can achieve a good balance between...

Dear Peter,
   I’m glad to receive your letter asking for my advice on how to learn Chinese well.
   Here are a few suggestions. First, it is important to take a Chinese course, as you’ll be able to learn from the teacher and practice with your fellow students. Then, it also helps to watch TV and read books, newspapers and magazines in Chinese whenever possible.
   Besides, it should be a good idea to learn and sing Chinese songs, because by doing so you’ll learn and remember Chinese words more easily. You can also make more Chinese friends.
They will tell you a lot about China and help you learn Chinese.
   Try and write to me in Chinese next time,
