Unit 4 What can you do?
Lesson 1
【学习目标】
1.能够正确听、说、读、写五个有关课余文化活动的单词或词组:dance, sing English songs, play the pipa, do kung fu, draw cartoons.
2.能在语境中正确运用上述词汇。
3.能够在现实生活中灵活运用句型“what can you do?”来询问别人能做什么,并能用句子“I can…”进行回答。并力求做到语音准确,语调自然。
【教学过程】
Step 1:warm-up and lead-in
1. Greetings
2. Say after me and do with me.
Jump, jump, I can jump;
Run, run, I can run;
Fly, fly, I can fly;
Sing, sing, I can sing;
Play, play, I can play computer games.
Step 2: Presentation
1、 呈现dance 的图片,教师做跳舞的动作,提问谁会读,教师领读,学生跟读,分小组读,全班一起书空。
2、 呈现sing English songs 的图片,教师唱英文歌曲展示,教师领读,学生跟读,分单词领读,学生分组展示,书空,对同桌书空。指导学生注意字母s,为复数。
3、 呈现do kung fu的图片,教师领读,学生跟读,分单词领读,学生分组展示,书空,对黑板书空。
4、 呈现play the pipa的图片,教师领读,学生跟读,学生分组展示,书空,对黑板书空。指导学生注意中间的the,
乐器应加the.
5、 呈现draw cartoons的图片,教师领读,学生跟读,同桌展示,书空,对黑板书空。指导学生注意字母s,为复数。注意有两个o.
Step 3: Practice
大小声练习,教师先示范,再请一位学生上台来读。
Step 4: Presentation
1、 教师提问学生:What can you do?学生回答:I can···.
教师提问:who can do more things? 引导学生用英语回答可以做更多事情,以练习本课所学词组。
2、 Who can ask me? 引导学生说出What can you do?教师回答:I can dance, sing English songs, do kung fu, play the pipa and draw cartoons.
3、 Work in pairs to practice dialogue.
4、 (1)教师提问一位男生:What can you do?学生回答:I can···.教师引导What can he do? Who can answer me?引导学生回答He can···.
(2)教师提问一位女生:What can you do?学生回答:I can···.教师引导What can she do? Who can answer me?引导学生回答She can···.
(3)教师喊一位学生的名字:´´´,What can you do?学生回答:I can···. so, What can ´´´ do? 教师引导学生回答´´´ can···.
Step 5: Practice
Work in pairs to practice sentence patterns.
What can you do? I can···.
What can he do? He can···.
What can she do? She can···.
What can ´´´ do? ´´´ can···.
Step 6.Extension and consolidation
Play a game: searching for jobs.

Step 7.Summary
教师带领同学以唱歌的形式总结本课所学词组和单词。
