【教学目标】

(二)能力目标
1.初步运用新语言知识互赠新年礼物。
2.引导学生围绕“节日互赠礼物”这个话题展开活动,在活动中提高学生的英语表达能力。
(三)情感目标
1.通过对课文的学习,使学生了解新年的风俗,引导学生正确理解中西方新年文化的差异,拓宽学生的知识面,并学会表达感激之情,有感恩的意识。

2.中西方新年差异:
①Western countries’Christmas : the 25th of December. The children can get gifts.
②Chinese New Year: Spring Festival. It always comes in January or February. The children can get red packets.
2.Open the gifts:
①Western countries: You should open the gifts at once. And you should praise.
②China: It’s not polite to open the gifts at once.
③The same: You should say ‘Thank you.’.
