1.Teach “read a book, saw a film”
T:Amy was happy last weekend.What did she do last weekend?(出示图片一部分)
S:Last Saturday,she read a book . S:Last Sunday,she saw a film.
T:Did you read a book last weekend? T:Did you see a film last weekend?
S:Yes, I did. / No,I didn’t. S:Yes, I did. / No,I didn’t.
2.Teach “had a cold, slept”
T:John was sad yesterday.He slept early last night.
S:What’s wrong?
T:He had a cold.
S:I am sorry to hear that.
3. Teach “the day before yesterday, last night”等表示过去的时间表述。
用日历帮助学生理解
4. Pair work
A:What did ...do ...last weekend?
B:He/She .....
A:Did he/she .... +[last night/Monday,yesterday,the day before yesterday] ?
B:Yes, he did. / No, he didn’t.

1. 看图猜测Amy上周末的活动，并根据实际回答教师问题，学习词组read a book, saw a film.
2. 学习词组had a cold, slept. 理解yesterday意思。
3. 学习表示过的时间。
4. 同桌对话练习

在图片的辅助下，运用Amy 和John的活动来学习新词，学生可以较快理解词组意思，对于过去时间副词的理解，用日历来表达更清晰明了。
