【教材简介】
本单元通过Mike和Yang Ling到Ben家里作客,引出话题,谈论“兴趣爱好”。主要学习一般疑问句Do you have any hobbies? 及其答语Yes,I do./No, I don’t.和主语为第三人称单数动词的用法。在教学过程中教师可以采用以旧带新的方法引出句型。
本课时为第一课时A Read and say。这段对话发生在Ben家里。Ben向Mike和Yang Ling介绍自己和他弟弟的兴趣爱好,并且询问Mike,Helen和Yang Ling的爱好。在教学过程中,尽量运用直观教学手段,并通过“任务型”的教学途径,开展一些调查活动,使所学内容与学生的生活紧密结合。努力做到单词教学与句型操练相结合,以利于学生发展言语技能,提高实际运用语言的能力。
【教学内容】

【目标预设】
A知识目标:
1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词collect, stamp, many, ship和句型Do you have any hobbies?及其答语。
2.能用He/She likes...的句型描述他人的爱好和活动。初步理解主语为第三人称单数时动词的变化形式。
B技能目标:
1.能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读、初步表演对话。
2.能正确运用所学词组、句型谈论爱好。
C情感目标:
1.通过讨论爱好,分享快乐。
2.学会关心身边的人。
【重点难点】
A教学重点:
1. 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词 collect, stamp, many, ship和句型Do you have any hobbies?及其答语。
2.能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读、初步表演对话。
B教学难点:
1. 能用He/She likes...的句型描述他人的爱好和活动。初步理解主语为第三人称单数时动词的变化形式。
2.能正确运用所学词组、句型自由地谈论爱好。
【设计理念】
学生的发展是英语教学的出发点和归宿,英语学习的最终目点是要掌握运用英语进行交际的能力。从学生的认知特点出发,设计了儿歌以及一些活动,让学生逐步掌握本单元的重点知识,努力创建以学生发展为本的英语教学模式,积极开展学生为中心的活动,利用英语自身的魅力着力于激发学生的学习积极性,尽可能多地给学生提供参与活动的机会,帮助学生在自主学习活动中真正的理解和掌握基本知识和技能,“让课堂充满生命活力,让学生成为学习的主人”,就能最终达到综合素质的提高。
【设计思路】
一开始从兴趣入手,由学生喜欢的英语儿歌引入,激发学习热情,创设良好的英语学习氛围。在自由交谈中复习学习过的动词短语,以旧带新,过度到新句型、新短语的学习。采用“整体呈现-分步操练-整体操练”的教学方法,让学生对课文对话能完全理解。再通过调查同学们的爱好,让学生谈论业余爱好,分享快乐,真实地运用所学新句型,培养学生运用英语的能力。最后进行适当的写的练习,及时反馈学生们的课堂学习效果。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
1. Greetings: T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls.
S: Good morning/afternoon, Miss Zhu.
2. Free talk: T: How are you? S: I’m fine,thank you./Not bad./Not so good.
3. T: Boys and girls. I like listening to English songs. Do you like listening? Let’s enjoy the song ‘Hobbies’.(课件播放歌曲动画)
4. T: Boys and girls, I like singing and I like dancing. What do you like? Ss: I like swimming/running/skating/…
T: Good. I like dancing. Dancing is my hobby. You have so many hobbies.
Teach: hobby hobbies
5. Today we’ll learn Unit 3 Hobbies. (揭题,并齐读课题。)
[设计意图:好的开始是成功的一半。几句简单亲切的话语,师生便互致了问候,缓解了紧张的气氛,缩短了彼此的距离;轻松的歌曲欣赏能让学生更愉快的进入学习英语的氛围和状态;在自由交谈中复习学过的动词短语和like doing的结构,同时新授单词hobby 及其复数形式hobbies.]
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. 引言教学:
1)Boys and girls, you have so many hobbies. How about other children?(课件出示三个人物):Show Ben, Mike and Yang Ling.
T: Who are they? S: They’re Ben, Mike and Yang Ling.
T: You’re right. They are classmates. Teach: classmate (课件显示:同班同学)
What is Ben’s hobby? (课件显示问题及声音播放按钮)Let’s listen and then answer this question.
2)(课件播放A部分引言声音文件)
T: What is Ben’s hobby? S: Collecting stamps.
Teach: collect(收集) stamp(邮票) collect stamps(集邮)
T: Ben’s hobby is collecting stamps. He has many beautiful stamps. He is showing them to his classmates. (教读前言,跟读并齐读。)
[设计意图:通过介绍对话背景,有目的的听引言,训练学生听关键信息的能力。同时教授新词:collect stamps]
2.课文精读:
1) T: Ben has many stamps. What stamps does he have? Let’s have a look. (播放A部分P22页动画)
T: What stamps does he have? S: flower stamps, ship stamps
Teach: ship (轮船)
T: I have many ship stamps, too. (课件展示一些精美的轮船邮票图片。)
Are they beautiful? Teach: beautiful(美丽的;漂亮的)
T: Look at these animal stamps. (课件展示动物邮票) They are Ben’s brother’s. They are all Chinese stamps. Teach: Chinese stamps (中国的邮票)
2) Ben and his brother like collecting stamps. How about Ben’s classmates? What do they like?
Read the dialogue and complete the table:(课件出示learning tip:自己读课文,划出关键词,完成表格。)

3)T: Does Mike have any hobbies?
S: Yes. He likes taking photos.
T: Good! Teach: take photos (拍照片)

T: Wonderful! Teach:grow flowers (种花)
T: How about Yang Ling?
S: She likes making clothes.
T: Good! Teach: make clothes (做衣服)
4) (课件展示以下几句话):
Mike likes taking photos.
Helen likes cooking and growing flowers.
Yang Ling likes making clothes.
(利用课件演示动词like 的第三人称单数形式,因为句子的主语为第三人称单数。教学动词第三人称单数形式的知识点。)
5)Make some sentences. (仿照例句造句,运用动词的三单知识点。如:Mike likes drawing. Helen likes dancing.)
[设计意图:用大问题引导学生细读课文,找出问题的答案,完成表格。指导学生精读课文,深层次理解对话并学习新单词、新短语和句型。这样做是为了培养学生阅读的习惯,并学会提取有效信息来分析解决问题的技能。对于知识点的教学:让学生先观察例句,再自己总结,这样学生印象深刻,最后及时造句,再次验证自己的总结,这样的数学方法同样能运用在英语的学习上。]

[设计意图:英语本身是一种实践性很强的语言。课堂上竭力为学生创设生活中的真实情景,让学生模仿正在学习的语言材料,发挥学生的主动性、创造性,学以致用,让学生用英语分享自己的业余爱好,体验学习的快乐,完成学习任务。给学生展示的舞台,最终提高学生实际运用语言的能力,发展用英语解决实际问题的能力。]
