The Future Passive Voice
被动语态的基本构成是”be + 过去分词”，各种时态通过be表现出来。一般将来时态的被动语态有下列几种形式：
1. shall/will be done
Will those old buildings be pulled down next week?那些古建筑物是在下周拆除吗？
2. be going to be done
The letter is going to be typed and sent off immediately.这封信将立即打好并发出。
3. be to be done
I have come to your time to find out about the present day Olympic Games because I know that in 2004 they are to be held in my hometown of Athens.
我来到你们这个时代，想了解有关当代奥运会的情况，因为我知道2004年奥运会将在我的家乡雅典举行。
The question is to be discussed at the next meeting.定于在下次会议上讨论这个问题。
is/are to do是将来时态的一种形式，表达的是按计划或根据原先的安排即将发生的事。例如：
The President is to attend the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
总统将参加奥运会的开幕式。
The company is to give us a pay rise. 公司将给我们加薪。
We are to award him a gold medal. 我们将奖励他一枚金牌。

4. be about to be done
These difficulties are about to be overcome.这些困难即将被克服。

［典例解析］1.Hundreds of jobs ________ if the factory closes.（2001全国春招）
A. lose B. will be lost C. are lost D. will lose
[解析]本句的意思是：如果工厂倒闭，那么将失去数百个工作岗位。lose a job意为”失业”。工作将被失去，要用将来时态的被动语态，因此排除答案A、C和D，答案选B。
2.The mayor of Beijing says that all construction work for the Beijing Olympics ________ by 2006. (2004北京)
A. has been completed B. has completed
C. will have been completed D. will have completed
[解析]宾语从句中主语all construction work for the Beijing Olympics和谓语动词complete之间有被动关系，所以谓语要用被动语态，因此排除选项B和D；by 2006暗示谓语要用将来完成时态，因此答案选C。
