课前复习对学生巩固旧的知识，学习新的知识很有帮助。
Step 2 presentation
1、师出示词卡，复习课文中的重点句。

b. How old is the ______?
2. T: In Module 1 there is a boy who wants to go to the Great Wall.
Who? What does he say? Let’s read in roles.
(Boys will be Simon .Girl will be Daming. I will be Daming’s Mum).
3. T: Where is Daming now? And how is he now in America? How can I know that?
S: You can ….
T:Wow! I’ve got an email from Daming. Let’s have a look together. OK?
What did he send? How to send?
T：Today we’re going to learn Module 2 Unit 1.

通过前一课复习很自然的过渡到新课，直接地向学生介绍主题并集中他们的注意力

1. Listen and find : went , spoke , ate , saw.
老师让学生发现这些单词的共同特点是什么？
生答，他们是动词的一般过去式。
师问：文章为什么用一般过去时？用时应注意什么？
最老师总结：是的，当我们讲述过去经历的事情时，就要用一般过去时，在该时态中动词的词尾要有变化，规则变化的须在动词词尾加ed或d;不规则变化的需特殊来记，下面边听边圈出这些词。
学生汇报发现的结果，老师整理板书，写在黑板上。
