第二部分 单元检测评价
促进英语教学,不仅要重视课堂的教,更有必要重视课后作业的设计和评价,建立全面与时俱进的作业观,这对于英语教学实践有重要的意义及作用。
此次单元检测本着面向全体学生,为学生全面发展和终身发展奠定基础,立足课本,精选练习,巩固强化基础知识的目的,将课堂上所学内容以填词入空,课后阅读练习,过渡词训练,接触高考题目以及写作的形式体现,学生能够很好的把握基础词汇,引导学生在做题过程中,进行自我评价,并根据需要调整自己的学习目标和学习策略,即教会学生发现适合自己的学习方法。
另外,本次测试中适当的加入高考题,令高一的学生很快的转变角色,尽快融入到对高考的备战过程中,课堂中加强学生高考题型的专项训练,不仅能够提高了学生的应试能力,还能够从心里上令学生消除对高考英语的恐惧心理。
最后,一道写作题的设计可谓是本次试卷的重点和亮点。利用我国2008年的汶川地震这样的实事,让学生学会观察生活,了解社会动态,培养学生对自然科学知识的渴求,对美好生活的热爱,激发他们学好自然科学服务于生活的热情。与此同时,唤醒学生对如今美好生活的珍惜和感恩,达到本节课的情感态度价值观的教育目的。通过对2008年地震的写作,也能够让同学们将本节课所学知识运用到自己的文章中,更深一步的熟练掌握本节课的重难点,灵活运用有关自然灾害这一话题词汇和表达句型。
通过这次的有效评价,我从中得到了很多启示,在今后的教学工作中要坚持以下几点:
1、 夯实语言基础知识。
从学生在单项填空、完形填空部分的解答以及单词拼写、作文怎样书写可以看出,很多学生的词汇和语法知识仍不够扎实,还存在较多问题,因此,强调基础知识的学习毫不为过。另外,在平时词汇教学中,抓重点单词,特别是动词的教学,适当扩充该词的其他相关用法,增补一些与课文有关的新词或有用的词汇。
2、切实培养阅读能力
在平时教学中,应争取让学生多掌握一些英语文化背景知识,经常向学生提供一些供其精读或泛读的英语文章,适当加大他们的语言材料输入量,扩大阅读量和拓宽知识面,培养学生的阅读理解能力,同时引导学生逐步提高阅读速度,培养学生分解和整合信息的技能,从而提高阅读理解水平。
3、逐渐加强写作教学
从具体情况来看,学生在考试过程中还存在着审题不细致,要点不齐全,表达不清楚,连接不自然,书写不整洁。今后要逐渐加强写作教学,从基本句型,常用单词、词组的用法入手,加强单句翻译,并结合具体语境判断使用适当的单词、词组和基本句型。背诵部分名篇时文。适当介绍常见体裁的写作技巧,常见题材的相关句型句式,并且选用相关连接词,使文章显得语句恰当,结构清晰,连贯流畅。
4、注重学习方法指导
语言学习一定要花功夫,要养成良好的习惯,讲究方法的运用,要戒除急功近利,好高骛远。特别是高一起始阶段,要采用取形式多样、内容丰富、兴趣盎然的阅读材料和介绍比较适合学生的好方法、好措施、好做法,来积极引导学生逐渐对英语学科的兴趣,增强他们学习英语的信心。当然,没有放之四海而皆准的方法,适合该学生的方法就是最好的方法。
当然,教育评价的方式有纸笔测验、表现评价和成长档案袋。纸笔评价也就是书面考试。优点是:规模大、效能高、稳定性好,机会均等,可复查,可比较。一次测验,可以是全班或者是全校一次甚至是全国一起的考试,规模可大可小。阅卷过程效率也相对高。稳定好,机会均等,是说,测试者面对同样的试题,摆在每个人面前的机会是均等的。这也能让每个测试者具有好的比较性。而且卷子在学生手里,可以进行反复的反思。缺点是:容量有限,时间有限。对于教师来说,编制好每次的测试卷子,十分的重要。要多方面的考虑因素,试题难易得当,时间使用合理,技能对基础知识起到巩固和检测的作用又能给有能力的学生已拔高的机会,既要鼓励又要有所警示。表现评价,就是对学生的表现进行评价,可以是一对一,多对一,或者是情景评价。缺点是:标准不统一。
现代教育的评价,是为了学习的评价,一切的评价手段,都是为了促进学生以后的学习和全面的成长。因此,我们要掌握好评价这一手段,充分利用,促进学生的全面发展。
