Module 5 Size模块备课
一、学习目标
1.初步认识并掌握单词：old、young、strong、than、older、younger、stronger、taller、shorter。
2. 能正确运用形容词的比较级形式来进行描述两个人的差异。
3.培养学生感知周围事物差异的能力。
4.巩固复习上一单元学习的形容词以及形容词比较级：tall---taller short----shorter strong---stronger old---older
5.学会并能口头运用Beijing is bigger than Tianjin.
6.学习并能识别运用短语：Mount Qomolangma、Mount Tai、The Great Wall、The Summer Palace
7.结合实际，让学生学会比较和描述两个事物。
二、教学重、难点
1. 能正确运用形容词的比较级形式来进行描述两个人的差异。
2. 学会并能口头运用Beijing is bigger than Tianjin.
3. 学习并能识别运用短语：Mount Qomolangma、Mount Tai、The Great Wall、The Summer Palace
三、突破措施
1．以歌曲的形式引入学习，让学生在歌曲中体验情境，经过一系列的游戏掌握单词和句型。结尾仍使用歌曲，使本课堂首尾相应，同时使学生在歌曲中了解比较级的用法，在游戏中体验学知识的乐趣。
2. 在课堂上尽量为学生创造多说英语的机会，在课后鼓励学生大胆地说英语，增强他们的学习兴趣和信心，使英语学习更加生活化。

Module 5 Unit 1 Amy’s taller than Lingling教学案
一、学习目标
1.初步认识并掌握单词：old、young、strong、than、older、younger、stronger、taller、shorter。
2.能正确运用形容词的比较级形式来进行描述两个人的差异。
3.培养学生感知周围事物差异的能力。
二、预习学案
复习第四模块学习的歌谣（与天气有关），并与学生进行一段对话 What’s the weather like today? It is sunny/windy/rainy. How are you? How old are you?
三、导学案
1 .Presentation
（1）教师说汉语学生说英语并做动作。
long, short, tall, fat, thin, big, small，（活跃课堂气氛，为教学做铺垫）
利用课件出示一位老人的图片。
T:Look,this man is old.(板书并领读old)Who is old?
S1 :My grandma is old.
S2:My grandpa is old.
T:Are you old ?(师面对全体学生，同时引导学生回答No, I’m not.)
Ss:No, I’m not.
T:Yes, you are young.Look,she is young.(课件出示年轻的小女孩的照片,板书并领读young)Who is young?
S4:I’m young.
S5: ×××is young.
S6:My little sister is young.
（2）出示课件显示所有学习过的形容词big, small, old ,young ,fat, thin, long, short, tall,教师边领读单词边造句。出示课件由Liu Xiang is tall. Yao Ming is taller.引出句型Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang.(讲解than 用于两者之间进行比较。，领读，男女生读，开火车读)并说出Liu Xiang is shorter than Yao Ming. 教师叫两名学生S1和S2到讲台前面，说： S1 is taller than S2.板书taller，重复几遍。领读单词。
（3）用同样的方式学习shorter.
（4）课件展示一位很强壮的人，教师说：“This is Mr Zhao. He's very strong.”出示单词卡片strong重复三遍，并做出很强壮的动作，帮助学生理解意思。教师领读单词，学生做动作并说I’m strong。叫两名学生A和B到讲台前做游戏：掰手腕.比完后说:. A is stronger than B.
(借助肢体语言和比赛，使学生更容易理解单词，印象深刻)
（5）教师出示课件，通过taller, shorter, stronger让学生总结出形容词比较级的规律，教师领读。读时并做出相应的动作
（6）教师说原形学生抢答比较级，并做相应的动作。
（7）小组练习。组长说原形，其余学生抢答做动作。
（通过多种形式的练习，学生能牢固地掌握单词）
（8）找个别学生用比较级造句。
（9）游戏击鼓传花：教师放音乐，学生开始传花，音乐停时，花在谁手中，谁就站起说一句子:I'm ... than ..../ ... is ...than....。
（学生在这个游戏中，能轻松快乐地边玩边掌握今天所学的句子）。
2、 Learn the text
（1）听录音，学生指向相应的图片
（2）听录音并跟读，然后回答问题.
（3）跟录音读课文，模仿语音语调。
（4）分角色读课文。

一、学习目标
1.巩固复习上一单元学习的形容词以及形容词比较级：tall---taller short----shorter strong---stronger old---older
2.学会并能口头运用Beijing is bigger than Tianjin.
3.学习并能识别运用短语：Mount Qomolangma、Mount Tai、The Great Wall、The Summer Palace
4.结合实际，让学生学会比较和描述两个事物。
二、预习学案
1.Greetings. Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? I’m fine, thank you. And you?
2. Chant: Tall tall taller, Amy’s taller than Lingling.
Old old older, Amy’s older than Lingling.
Short short shorter, Sam’s shorter than Daming.
Young young younger, Sam’s younger than Daming.
上课时，我先通过和学生的互动，再通过一首chant引出了上节课的内容。真正达到了复习旧知、引出新知。
三、导学案
1.Lead-in
T：Do you like travelling? Today,I’ll take you to visit some beautiful and famous places. There are four stops in our trip. First, let’s go to No.1 stop: close your eyes please!
No.1 stop: the Changjiang River and the Yellow River
T: CAI shows the picture of the Changjiang River.
T: What is it?Ss: the Changjiang River.
CAI shows the picture of the Yellow River.
T: And this is……
Ss: the Yellow River.
问同学们知道两条河的长度么？再告诉学生长江长6397km, 黄河长 5464km. 让学生比较Which is longer?
引导学生说出句子： The Changjiang River is longer than the Yellow River.
单词：long longer 分组读 比较级和原级 排火车 小组竞赛
No.2 stop： Mount Qomolangma, Mount Tai （出示课件）
I want to travel around the world one day, climb Mount Qomolangma and Mount Tai is my dream.(展示两幅图，分别教学)
大多数学生可能对泰山的了解比较多一点，再和学生说：Mount Tai, it is in our Shandong province.并问学生 Have you ever been there?
同学们可能对Mount Qomolangma（分音节读）不是很了解，可以给学生们讲一下，It is the highest mountain in our earth!
问学生 Which is higher, Mount Tai or Mount Qomolangma?
引导学生说出Mount Qomolangma is higher than Mount Tai.

T: Yes, you are right. It’s the Summer Palace. “summer” means 夏天 ，palace 宫殿，So the Summer Palace How beautifulthey are!介绍：长城和頣和园在我国历史悠久，长城距今已有2000多年的历史，頣和园距今也有200多年的历史了。因此我们可以说：
The Great Wall is older than the Summer Palace.

向学生展示北京和天津的轮廓，让学生自己比较，然后问学生Which is bigger?引导学生说出 Beijing is bigger than Tianjin. .(告诉学生big的比较级是双写g加er,这点需要学生知道）

前面对课文的学习已经比较扎实，所以在这一环节主要练习一下学生们的听力。
3.Practise
（1）呈现两个单元学过的形容词和比较级，齐读，分组读举手读，读得越多越好，做得好的给予奖励。
（2）Pairwork
① 让学生利用身边的文具.课本或者是教室里的物品或者是手掌。衣服运用所学的句型进行比较，（贴近学生的生活实际）对于做的好的小组给与奖励。
例如：pencil My pencil is longer than your pencil.
对于不会用英语表达的物品可以用A B 代替或告诉学生怎样用英语表达。
②课本活动2
教师带领学生比较四组图画，同桌之间做对话。
（3）Groupwork
三人一组，学生1 ：… is taller than …
学生2Is…taller than….学生3Yes,he is.
看哪个小组做的最好，并给与评价与奖励。
(4)Competition
教师课件出示一组组图画，学生举手抢答，说出句子，及时奖励。 (如：北京市和天津市 Beijing is bigger than Tianjin.)
(5)Chant:
long—longer, The Changjiang River is longer than The Yellow River.
High—higher, Mount Qomolangma is higher than Mount Tai.
Old--- older, The Great Wall is older than The Summer Palace.
Big --- bigger, Beijing is bigger than Tianjin.
此活动旨在培养学生的兴趣，既复习了前面所学知识（比较级），又巩固了本课的学习内容。
(6)Poem 课本活动三
先让学生比较课本中两个学生的差异，再学习诗歌，可以告诉学生诗歌中押韵的地方，再听录音学习诗歌。
