Unit 1 She is reading a book
Teaching goals:
知识与技能:Words: read, running, these, picture, take, take pictures
Sentences:She’s reading a book. He’s taking pictures.
过程与方法:学生能根据例句中的图片及句型She is reading a book,模仿写出现在进行时的句子。
情感态度与价值观:让学生能积极参与教学活动,在课堂上充满自信,敢于开口,乐于模仿,勇于表演,培养学生与同伴合作的学习精神。
Teaching steps:
Step 1 Warm up and lead in
1. Greeting.
2. Show some pictures and ask the students to say something about the pictures.
Step 2 Presentation
1、Learn the new words
Before we learn the new text, we learn some new words: these, reading, taking pictures, watching TV, playing with a toy train.
2、Listening
(1)Play the tape, and ask the students to listen carefully.
(2)Listen again and ask the students to point to the sentences and find “-ing”并圈出来。
(3) Listen for the third times and ask the students to repeat the sentences. Try to imitate the tone and the pronunciation.
3、重点学习:She’s reading a book. He’s taking pictures.
I like reading.
Look, I’m reading a book.
Lily likes reading.
Look! She’s reading a book.
Tom likes reading.
Look! He’s reading a book.
4、Practice
(1) Ask the students to look at the pictures on Page 10 and listen to the tape, and then repeat the sentences.
(2) guessing game:one student sit,one stands behind him and do the actions,such as: read a book,play football....one stands before him and asks:what is he doing?The student answers:he is ....
(3)Look at the pictures on Page10 and try to describe the pictures.
Step 4 Summary
Sum up what we learnt during this period. Review the words: these, reading, taking pictures, watching TV, playing with a toy train.
And review the sentences: She’s reading a book. He’s taking pictures. She’s watching TV. He’s playing with a toy train.
Step 5 Homework
Listen to the tape and repeat the text for several times.
