Step 1 Revision
T:What are the four greatest inventions of China?
Ss:Paper,printing,gunpowder and compass.
T:Where can we see them today?
Ss:In the museum.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Let’s watch the short film about the Palace Museum.
Suppose I am a guide. I’ll show you around the Palace Museum.
Come on.This way. This is the Palace Museum.And it is also called the Forbidden City. It is in Beijing.. It was built about 600 years ago. Totay it is one of the wonders of the world. No shouting. Please be quiet.Hurry up.This way.We can see the square. And this is Taihe Temple. It is the largest temple in the Forbidden City. Look at the dragons. Don’t touch. It’s against the rules. No photography.It is quite wonderful.No wonder millions of visitors come here every year.

教学反思
通过多媒体辅助教学,我为学生提供了一个极为轻松愉快的语言学习环境,激发了学生学习的兴趣和求知欲。
在课堂的语言交际中,教师的教学和学生的积极参与是密不可分的,因此,我在构思时较为注重课堂任务的设计。所谓课堂任务,是指通过让学生用英语完成一种或几种真实的生活任务,从而培养学生运用英语的能力(也就是用英语做事的能力)。该活动有利于激活和培养学生运用外语思维表达思想。
学生在本课中能听懂并获取具体信息,能听懂指令,也能发出指令,提示某人不要做某事,这样也提高英语的口头表达能力,这正是教学目的所在。
