One is through a picture; the other is shown directly.They gained a basic impression of the words whose meanings cant be guessed in the context.扫除阅读过程中的部分障碍（有些单词是没办法在文章中猜出来的）。Reading (18)First, the teacher will let the Ss read some information about skimming. After that, ask the Ss to use what they have just learned to skim the text.Second, ask the Ss to read the text again. And then, do Ex1 on their answers with The Ss will read the reading material carefully to learn the skills of skimming.
