教学内容
The unit talks about wild animals. This lesson lets students write a report with appearance, abilities, food, and danger given in the table.
教学对象
The students of Grade Eight seldom contact with the writing using the notices to collect the information and give the guidance of a student in the writing ability. So at the beginning, I ask students to go through the information about the table for bears and try to describe in completed sentences.
教学目标
1. Present true information in the report and express their own opinions
2. To describe appearance, food, abilities, and danger of wild animals
3. Try to write a report with given information, and give their own opinions about endangered wild aminals
教学策略
1. To learn to write a report
2. Lead in the lesson by revising the reading.

1. Different pictures of endangered wild animals
2. Read the useful expressions.

Watch a short video, and encourage students to say out their names.
(tigers, dolphins, giant pandas, elephants, monkeys, camels, zebras, etc.)

1. Revise the growth, food and serious problems of Xi Wang.
2. Revise useful expressions with the whole class.

2. Present the table about bears. Let students find out difficult words or phrases, and try to solve them in groups.
3. Describe looks, food, abilities, qualities, and danger parts in a completed sentence.

1. Fill in the blanks on their own, and then check answers in pairs.
2. Read the report by themselves, and read it in different ways

1.. Ask students to write a report on tigers with given information If any questions, have a discussion in groups.
2.Remind students that they can use
the report on bears as a model.
3. Ask students to correct their partners’ mistakes to make it better.
