School things 南关小学 刘宏凤 Aims and demands: 1. Make sure the pupils understand the instructions in an Action Story. Listen and mime:Open your (schoolbag). / Take out a (ruler). / Take out (two books). / What’s this? A skipping rope. / Hooray. / 2. The pupils can order pictures according to a sequence of actions. Teaching Important and Difficult Points: Understand instructions and mime actions. Teaching Aids: CAI; A tape recorder; A sipping rope; A ruler; Two books; Three pens; Four pencils; Teaching Process: Step 1: Warming up / Review. Greetings: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls. How are you today? Say the chant: Take out your schoolbags. Review the words: 重点eraser & ruler (Just show a part to guess what it it.) Step 2: Presentation Show a schoolbag with many school things in it. Ask Ss to guess‘What’s in the schoolbag?’ (当学生说出答案时,师拿出相应的图片)‘Open my / your schoolbag. / Take out a (pen). / Take out two (books).’ (带读,学生举一反三) Go on taking out the skipping rope. Before taking it out, ask Ss to touch and guess what is in the schoolbag‘What’s this? A skipping rope.’(带读) T says it sentence by sentence and SS follow.(板书、认读) Step 4: practice Watch and listen to the CAI. Watch it again and T and Ss do the actions together in the order. (两遍) T says, SS do the actions in the right order. A match among groups: T says in the jumbled order and Ss do the actions quickly. A match between Ss: a pupil from each group joins in it. Listen to the tape and point to the pictures. (If SS can read, try to read) Listen and number the pictures. Listen again and check the answers. Step 5: Consolidation Step 6: Homework Listen to the tape and try to say it on P25 three times. Recite the words: pen & pencil Bring colouring pens.
