《英语1》 (基础模块高教版)Unit 5 what’s your hobby?(第三课时 教学设计) 一. 教材分析 1. 教学内容 本课时系教材 《英语1》 (基础模块高教版)第五单元的第三课时,是阅读和写作课。本课在整个单元中扮演着承前启后的角色,既是对上节听说课的复习和巩固,又为本单元的任务-建立班级兴趣小组做好准备。阅读部分是关于人们的兴趣爱好的短小文章,并分别以第一人称和第三人称叙述形式出现。写作部分是让学生写出同学的好恶。所以这课目的在于通过阅读课文和写作训练让学生进一步掌握关于兴趣爱好的表达方式。 2. 教学重点、难点 (1) 教学重点 ① 指导学生完成阅读任务 ② 指导学生掌握以第一人称和第三人称表达自己和他人的兴趣爱好。 (2) 教学难点 ①学生能将兴趣爱好第一人称的叙述方式以第三人称进行复述。 ②学生能够结合生活实际写出同学的好恶。 3. 教学工具: PPT,卡片,乒乓球,书 4. 教学方法: 情景教学法,演示法,师生互动法,小组合作法 二、教学目标 1. 知识目标 (1)学生能掌握和运用表达兴趣爱好的词汇和短语,如 hate, favorite, exciting, boring hate doing sth 等。 (2 )学生能理解和运用表达兴趣爱好的第一人称和第三人称的句型。 如:I enjoy playing computer games. What’s his hobby? He /She likes …, but he/ she doesn’t like… He/ She enjoys…, but he/ she doesn’t enjoy… He/ She loves …, but he/ she hates… 2. 能力目标 (1)学生能够读懂关于兴趣爱好的阅读材料。 (2)学生能够简单介绍自己的个人爱好以及其他人的兴趣爱好。 3. 情感目标 (1)学生能够积极与他人合作,有积极的学习态度 (2)尊重他人的兴趣爱好。 三.教学过程 Step one Lead- in 5’ 1. warm-up Teacher says : “What a beautiful day! Do you like playing table tennis? If you can speak the whole sentence ‘I like playing table tennis’, I will give this table tennis to you. How about this? Do you like reading? If you can speak the whole sentence ‘I like reading’, I will give you this book. Who can speak the sentence ‘I love listening to music’? I will give you this CD.” Then, students read these three sentences together. (设计意图,教师通过实物展示,为学生创造真实的语言学习环境,引导学生说出自己的兴趣爱好,并通过实物奖励,激发学生的学习热情, 活跃课堂,最后学生齐读这三个句子,使学生进一步巩固动词短语的ing形式。) 2. Introduce teaching goals. Teacher introduces: “in this lesson, we need to learn the important words and phrases.” (E.g. hate, favorite, exciting, boring, hate doing sth) Also, learn the important sentence patterns. (E.g. What’s his hobby? He /She likes …, but he/ she doesn’t like… He/ She enjoys…, but he/ she doesn’t enjoy… He/ She loves …, but he/ she hates…) (设计意图:在导入新课之后,教师通过介绍本课的教学目标,从而使学生更明确本课的学习任务。) 3. Show pictures Teacher shows four pictures of our classmates, and students are asked to remember their names and dresses. (设计意图:通过介绍班上4个同学的兴趣爱好设置相关情境,一方面引起学生学习这堂课的热情,另一方面自然引入本课) Step two Reading 15’ 1. Students read the Activity 13 on Page 71 loudly after the teacher. (设计意图,通过教师领读文章,学生跟读,以便熟悉文章。) 2. Listen to the tape Students listen to the tape about activity 13 on page 71 and pay attention to the words about likes and dislikes. (E.g. love, enjoy, like, I don’t like …) (设计意图,通过听4位同学的自我介绍,一方面可以对这4位同学的兴趣爱好有更深的认识,另一方面同学们可以关注 “喜恶”这些词的多种表达法,为下面的书写做准备。) 3. Read and fill in the blanks Students read their classmates’ hobbies again and write down their likes and dislikes in 3 minutes. Then, teacher invites 3 students to share answers to check whether they are right or not. (设计意图,在填空练习中,学生可以理解阅读材料,并通过书写为后面的写作做好知识储备。让学生站起来回答以面对全体学生检查阅读结果。) 3. Students read the Activity 13 on Page 71 loudly after the teacher. (设计意图,教师再次领读文章,进一步加深学生对这4位同学的自我介绍理解,为下面活动做好铺垫。) 4. Check students’ memory Teacher checks students whether they remember their classmates’ names or not by showing pictures, (设计意图,通过展示图片检查大家是否记得4位同学的名字,加深同学们的对这4位同学的印象,为下面的活动做准备) 5. Read and match Students read the Activity 14 on Page 72 loudly after the teacher and match with the pictures. Then, teacher checks the answers by asking 4 students to share their ideas. Meanwhile,teacher explains the new word. (E.g. hate, hate doing sth) (设计意图,通过老师带读,学生从另外一个角度认识4位同学的爱好。 同时,通过连线活动,将上一部分活动中第一人称的叙述方式以第三人称重复一遍,为后面学生以第三人称叙述同学的兴趣做准备。) Step three Language Practice 20’ 1. Learn more ways to express our hobbies Teacher shows some QQ faces and students try to understand their meanings. Then, students read these words. (E.g. hate, enjoy, like…) (设计意图,通过操练掌握这些单词,让学生体会到语言是生动的,能够传达感情。语言学习也是非常快乐的。这比起单纯的教师说教起到事半功倍的效果。) 2. Check students’ memory Teacher points to the QQ faces and students speak out the meanings of QQ faces. (设计意图,通过教师检验学生是否记住QQ表情的英文,加深学生记忆表达喜欢和不喜欢的词汇) 3. Introduce hobbies Teacher asks three students to introduce these four students’ (e.g. Wang Yang, Zhang Qing, Tang Hua, Sara)hobbies with the help of QQ faces. Meanwhile, teacher explains the new words. (E.g. favorite, exciting, boring) (设计意图,学生通过QQ 表情来介绍4位同学的爱好,巩固学生以第三人称的方式介绍他人爱好,同时教师讲解新单词,让学生更深刻理解有关重要的词汇的运用)。 4. Read hobbies Students read these four students’ hobbies loudly. (设计意图, 学生通过再次大声朗读王洋,张青,唐华,莎拉的兴趣爱好, 巩固以第三人称的方式叙述他人的兴趣爱好。) 5. Talk about hobbies Teacher acts and students guess teacher’s hobbies. Then teachers asks 3 students “What’s your hobby?” Finally, teacher asks other students “what’s his/her hobby?” Ss answer he /she enjoys… (设计意图,教师通过肢体语言展示自己的兴趣爱好,学生通过观察猜测出老师的兴趣爱好,从而进一步拉近师生的距离。接着,教师提问三个同学的兴趣爱好,再由班上其它同学复述这两位同学的爱好, 由第一人称自然过渡到第三人称,再次强调以第三人称的方式叙述他人的兴趣爱好。 6. Group works Divide the whole classes into several small groups, each group has three students, and students ask their group members’ hobbies, and then write down their hobbies on the paper. At last, teacher chooses some groups to practice in front of the blackboard. (设计意图,将学生进行分组,利用简易句型,描述本组同学的兴趣爱好,并通过上讲台操练,节旨在展示学生的合作精神,以及让学生弘扬其个性。) Step four Summary 3’ 1. Teacher asks students “How many ways are there to express our likes and dislikes?” (E.g. love, enjoy, like, don’t like, don’t enjoy, hate) 2. The whole classes read the new words and phrases on blackboard loudly. 3. Students master the important sentence pattern. (E.g What’s his hobby? He /She likes/ enjoys/ loves…, but he doesn’t like/ doesn’t enjoy/ hates…. (设计意图,再次强调今天学习的表达兴趣爱好的动词及短语,学生通过大声朗读,巩固了今天所学的这些单词,短语和句子) Step five Homework 2’ 1. Complete a short passage. Hello! I am Lily. I __________________ (弹钢琴) so much, because it makes me relax (放松)。 It’s so cool! I also _____________________________(小猫) because they are so _______(可爱). But I ________________(钓鱼).It’s too _____________________ (无聊的). That’s me! (设计意图,通过查找单词将一篇小短文补充完整,可以巩固学生的知识,及扩展视野) 2. Write oneself Write a short passage about your own hobby according to the above passage. (设计意图,仿照短文写一篇关于自己兴趣爱好的文章,将课堂上所学的知识应用到实际当中) 板书设计 Unit 5 what’s your bobby? hate 讨厌 hate doing sth 讨厌做某事 favorite 最爱 exciting 令人兴奋的 boring 无聊的 -What’s his/her hobby?
