建设有中国石油大学特色的海洋学科
摘要：中国石油大学（华东）东营校区面向渤海，黄岛校区面向黄海，海洋学科的发展具有独特的优势，然而目前基础却较为薄弱。学校和学院进行了大量工作以推动海洋学科建设。以后应当继续加强与涉海单位的交流，编写适合我校特色专业的海洋地质教材，加强海洋方向人才的引进力度，注重野外实践教学等。

海洋科学是一个多系统、多学科交叉的综合性学科体系。一个多世纪以来，对海洋资源的开发利用带动了海洋科学的发展。随着对海洋重要性认识的逐步提高，人类对海洋科学的发展产生了重大而深远的影响。勿庸置疑的是，海洋将成为21世纪科学发展和技术开发研究的重要领域之一，21世纪将是“海洋的世纪”。《全国海洋经济发展规划纲要》也指出，我国是海洋大国，管辖海域广阔，海洋资源可开发利用的潜力很大。然而，由于海洋长期以来在我国不受重视，我国海洋科学发展一直比较缓慢，设立海洋学科的学校比较少。当然，由于海洋事业发展缓慢的限制，人才需求增长也比较缓慢。随着政府对海洋学科（例如海洋地质）的投入加大，我国的海洋科学研究和教育与国家、社会、经济和科学技术的发展紧密地联系在一起，海洋科学高等教育成为了我国高等教育的一个重要组成部分。然而，我国与国外还有着很大差距。幸运的是，海洋热潮的出现，对海洋科学类专业的发展提供了广阔的社会背景，给高等教育带来了难得的历史机遇。与此同时，中国石油大学（华东）海洋学科的建设也正在起步。我校东营校区面向渤海，黄岛校区面向黄海，海洋学科的发展应该具有独特的优势，然而目前来讲，基础却较为薄弱。目前，学校和学院进行了大量工作以推动海洋学科建设。
一、整合资源、寻求支持，推进海洋学科建设
实验室建设方面。2008年11月，中国石油大学（华东）与国家海洋局第一海洋研究所共建了海洋信息技术实验室，为海洋石油与海域管理的和谐发展提供了科技支撑。
1.联合培养、科研合作方面。2009年9月至2010年1月，地学院院长、书记等领导一行连续走访了国家海洋局第一海洋研究所、中国科学院海洋研究所、国土资源部青岛海洋地质研究所、中国海洋大学海洋地球科学学院等单位，与几家驻青高校和科研院所建立了合作关系，以期借助各涉海单位的力量发展我院海洋地质、第四纪地质学两个二级学科和地质灾害与环境保护方向等。2010年4月，中科院海洋所副所长李铁刚研究员等一行赴中国石油大学（华东）探讨了交流合作事宜。
2.学术交流方面。2009年6月，中国科学院院士、中国科学院海洋研究所研究员秦蕴珊应中国石油大学（华东）研究生院邀请来校，为师生作了题为《海洋地质科学的进展与国家需求》的学术报告。2010年3月至11月，来自国土资源部青岛海洋地质研究所和中国科学院海洋研究所的几位研究员，专程来校做了相关学术报告。
可以看出，学校和学院进行了大量工作以推动海洋学科建设。然而，不得不承认的是最基本的课程建设明显不足。下面以《海洋地质学》课程建设为例进行浅显的探讨。
二、依托特色、加快《海洋地质学》课程建设
1.《海洋地质学》课程联合授课。2011年6月份，笔者承担了学院安排的研究生课程《海洋地质学》，明显感觉力所不及。经过长时间思索与联系，联系了涉及到中国科学院海洋研究所、中国科学院南海海洋研究所、国土资源部青岛海洋地质研究所、国家海洋局第一海洋研究所以及中国石油大学（华东）的部分青年研究人员，专程来校授课、报告。实际上，这些研究人员除了以上提及的单位，其学术思想和经历还涉及到中国海洋大学、同济大学、南京大学、吉林大学、美国和德国等的高校与研究单位。研究海域从极地到日本海—渤海—黄海—东海—南海，从浅水中国陆架—陆坡—西太平洋—东南太平洋；研究方向从海水—海气—海陆作用，涉及沉积学、古生物学、地球化学、构造地质学、古地磁学、大洋铁锰结核、可燃冰、洋中脊岩浆作用及与地幔柱相互作用等；涉及的尺度从秒—天—季—年一直到亿年，从地质尺度到实时观测，从海面以上数十千米到海底以下数千米。研究生课程的此番进行，使得课程内容更加丰富，课程质量得到了提升。实际上，课程仍然存在问题，其最大的问题就是没有适合我校特色的《海洋地质学》教材。
2.教材编写。《海洋地质学》是地质学专业海洋地质方向的必修课程。针对目前国际海洋科学发展态势和我国国家海洋发展战略需求，考虑到我校东营校区面向渤海，黄岛校区面向黄海的独特优势，我们应该将海洋地质学课程定位为地质学专业的必修专业基础课程。目前我们已经开设了《地球科学概论》、《普通地质学》两门相关的课程，另外还应增加一门《海洋科学导论》课程，这些课程都是学习《海洋地质学》课程的基础预备课程。
不可否认的是，随着国际地球科学的迅速发展，海洋地质学科的发展也面临着新的挑战和机遇。面对国际海洋科学的发展特点和我国海洋战略需求，我们（以及未来的）的教学队伍应当吸取国内主要教材的一些特色内容，吸收国际海洋地质发展的最新动态，尽快结合我校特色制定出适合我们的《海洋地质学》课程教学框架，完成《海洋地质学》教材的建设，为同学们将来从事海洋地质及相关研究工作打下坚实基础。
3.教师队伍建设。因为海洋地质学科包容性非常强，目前关于海洋方向教师队伍的严重不足。能够参与到教学中来的教师人员严重不足，在学术研究背景方面势单力薄，在课程教学中无法完成分工合作、优势互补，甚至连基本的教学任务的完成也难以保证，教学质量更是不可保障。值得高兴的是，海洋地质方向的人才引进工作得到了学院、系领导的关注。
4.实践教学。地球科学本身就是一门实践性非常强的科学。海洋地质学虽然是一门以基础理论教学为主要特点的专业课程，但是实践教学也是非常重要的组成部分。然而，由于客观条件的限制难以组织学生进行实际得海上地质调查工作和实习。我们可以将海洋地质学的部分教学内容与普通地质认识实习和综合地质认识实习相结合，利用陆上的河北秦皇岛、安徽巢湖、鲁东等实践教学基地，针对一些海相地层的发育特征，现场进行海洋地质学的基础内容教学。另外，可以组织学生到学校周边如金沙滩、银沙滩、唐岛湾、灵山岛等地开展海洋地质考察和现场教学，这样的教学方式应该会得到学生的欢迎。2011年9月，地学院地质系在灵山岛开展了一堂生动的野外地质现场教学公开课，吕洪波教授担任主讲，授课对象主要是来自地球科学与技术学院的100余名本科生、硕士研究生和博士研究生。这种现场教学不但开拓了视野，激发了灵感，还提高了专业素养，取得了课堂教学不可替代的良好效果。当然，海洋地质研究终究离不开海上的科学考察，虽然该课程不可能安排学生到船上出海实习，但是青岛港口内断断续续停靠着非常多的科考船，比如科学三号、向阳红09号，“东方红”号等科学考察船，可以考虑组织学生到这些海洋调查船上进行参观考察，和船上的科学家直接进行交流学习。通过与涉海单位的加强沟通，这或许可行。
三、海洋学科发展的主要设想
2011年10月，山东省委、省政府召开蓝黄两大发展战略实施情况督促检查工作总结会议，提出“振奋精神，再接再厉，努力开创蓝黄两区建设新局面”。中国石油大学的中期发展目标是，到2020年，建成国内著名、石油学科国际一流的高水平研究型大学。为了与学校的中期发展目标一致，海洋学科的发展以及海洋类专业的设置应该体现我校的办学特色，海洋类专业与传统石油类专业的结合是必然的选择。
综上所述，要加强与涉海单位的合作交流，需要组织力量，编写一本适合我校特色专业的海洋地质教材，加强海洋方向人才的引进力度。实践教学方面，必须将海洋地质学的相关教学内容与普通地质认识实习和综合地质认识实习相结合，组织学生到学校周边地区进行现场教学，组织学生到相关单位的海洋调查船上进行直接的参观考察，我校的海洋（地质）学科建设将会不断完善。
