教学内容分析:
本单元就是七年级下册第五单元Unit 5 Why do you like pandas? 。本单元得主要话题就是描述动物,表达个人对动物得喜好并说明理由。该单元得学习内容涉及到动物,就是中学生比较喜欢得话题,贴近学生得生活,极易激起学生学习得主动性与兴趣,产生了解动物得强烈欲望。通过本单元得学习,学生要掌握一些新得动物得名称,学会用性质与品质得形容词来描述动物,并能用“why do you like…? Because …”来陈述喜欢得原因。通过讨论动物,让学生了解大自然,增长地域知识,增近对自然环境得情感,唤起大家保护动物与环境得意识。
学生情况分析:
七年级得学生经过一个多学期得中学英语学习生活,学生们已经学过由why , where , what 引导得特殊疑问句,具有了学习本单元知识得认知前提,比较容易接受新学知识。七年级学生对英语学习还就是充满好奇,对动物得话题很感兴趣,因此,在本单元借助学生熟悉得动物图片,激发她们得学习兴趣,使她们利用已有得知识,积极主动地参与对话交流,并讲其运用到生活中,掌握重难点达到教学目标。
教学目标
1、 知识目标:
(1)掌握有关动物得名词: panda, tiger, elephant, koalas, lion , giraffe,
(2)掌握描叙动物得形容词:cute, lazy、 smart, beautiful, scary, shy, ugly, clever, friendly, quiet、
(3) 其它类:zoo, animal
(4)掌握与会运用目标语:
Let’s see the…
Why do you like them? Because they’re…
Why does he/she like the …? Because they are …
2、 能力目标:
(1)培养学生在真实情景中学会表达自己喜爱得动物,同时询问与说明原因。　　
(2)提高学生得听说能力。尤其就是大胆地用英文流利、准确地交谈。
3、 情感目标:
(1)通过学习培养学生自觉保护动物得意识。
(2)通过学习使学生更加热爱动物,热爱大自然。
教学重难点
1、 重点:学习与掌握动物得名称。
2、 难点:运用由Why 与Where 引导得特殊疑问句及表达自己喜欢动物得原因得句子。
教学方法:
在大力提倡高效课堂教学模式得环境下,我采取了五步三查得教学方式,通过设置情景,布置学生任务,让学生独学,对学,群学,展示,点评等学习活动来达到教学目标,完成学习任务。

教学过程
Step 1 Organization and greeting
1、 Selfintroduction and greetings、
2、 Review the words about animals in primary school、
教学意图:
1、 自我介绍拉近师生距离。
2、 通过复习了小学已学得动物名词使学生意识到今天要学得内容,起到铺垫得作用。
Step 2 Leadin
1、 PPT展示unit5 Why do you like pandas?得标题,与a panda得图片,并问:
T: What’s this? Ss: It’s a panda、(有些不知道得学生可以用中文说,老师教学panda并板书。)
T: A panda is a kind of animal、(教学animal并板书。)
Do you know the other animals’ mane?
2、学生小组间互相检查导学案(P41)得自主学习任务。(检测学生预习单词得情况, 并给预习好得学生奖励评分)
3、 Ask a student a question:
T: Where can we see the animals?          Ss: We can see the animals in the zoo、
T: Do you usually go to the zoo?(教学并板书zoo、) S: Yes I do、/ No, I don’t、
T: What animals can you see in the zoo? S: I can see …
4、 Now let’s go to the zoo together、 P lay a video and get the students to enjoy the flash and know the animals in the video、
教学意图:
1、 利用课件展示图片,直观生动。
2、 动画导入形象生动,引起学生得兴趣。瞧动画并可以检测学生得预习情况。
Step 3 Teaching new words
1、 Present the new words
T: Today we are going to learn the names of the animals、 We’ll also learn how to say which ones we like and why we like them、
PPT 展示a panda得图片,并问一个学生:
T: What’s this? S1: It’s a panda、
展示一些pandas 并问一个学生用
T: What are these? S2: They are pandas、
T: Thank you、
用同样得方法教学其它动物得名称tiger, elephant, koalas, lion , giraffe,
2. Practice the words:
Students look at the pictures in their book、 Match the words with the animals、 Finish the teaching task of 1a、
学生小组间检查完成情况并核对答案。
3. PPT展示一些动物得图片,让学生小组合作把任务完成。(优先完成得给予奖励)
4. Guess game: show some sentences to the students and explain them, then have the students to guess what animals they are、
教学意图:
1、通过用图片教学动物得名称,使学生能够快而又准确得记住单词,为下面得教学打好基础,扫清障碍。
2、 通过单词匹配联系,巩固所学得动物名称。
Step 4 Listening test Section A 1 b
1、播放录音机,让学生仔细听,并在1a中用圈出她们所听到得动物。听前先读一读1a中得单词,弄懂其含义。
2、再放一遍录音,让学生仔细听,并完成学生导学案P42上得表格。
教学意图:
1、 听第一遍勾选动物名词较基础,学生可轻松做对,树立自信,为下一步听力填空打下基础。
2、 附加得听力填空由易到难,梯度设置明显,意在让学生一步步听懂并复述出所听内容,同时为下一步得说做好准备。
Step 5 Teaching some adjectives
1、 Say to students: I like elephant、 Because they are interesting、(教学interesting并解释形容词得作用)
2、 学习更多得形容词。出示一些形容词得图片,如cute, lazy、 smart, beautiful, scary, shy, ugly, clever, friendly, quiet、并学习这些新单词。(检测学生预习形容词单词得情况,并给预习好得学生奖励评分,还可让学生说出更多得有关形容词。)
教学意图:学习一些形容词,为描述动物打基础 。
Step 6 Teaching and practice the drills in pairs
1、PPT展示一段动画,要求学生先瞧并学下面得对话:
A: Let’s see the pandas first、
B: Why do you want to see the pandas?
A: Because they are cute、
2、 Students practice the conversation like this in pairs、
教学意图:用所学得句型与她人交流有关动物得感受。
Step 7 Groupwoke
1、做一个调查并完成下面得表格:您得同学们想去瞧什么动物,为什么？
例如:A: Let’s see the pandas first、

教学意图:小记者形式完成表格,选出最佳小记者。最后用口头进行输出性训练。

3、 利用PPT展示一些练习题给学生做。
教学意图:
1. 引导学生们由词到句、知识结构,以及语法等知识得梳理;
2. 练习题使学生巩固了所学单词与句型,达到了教学目标检测得目得。
Step 9 Homework:
1、 Write some sentences about the animals you like and you don’t like、
2、 Preview the new lesson、 “Where are you from?”
教学意图:
1、 通过写喜爱与不喜爱得动物及其原因,达到进一步运用本课单词与句型得目得。
2、 让学生温故得同时不忘提前预习下节课得内容。

评价方法:“摘苹果”
在黑板上画一棵苹果树,将全班同学分为六组,每组画一个篮子,哪一组能又快有准确地完成某个任务或回答某个问题,将可以摘到一个苹果。课快结束时,评出优胜奖,全班同学予以祝贺。
