bring、take、carry、get、lift的用法

动词bring,take,carry,get,lift都有“携带、运送“之意，但它们用法各异。
一、bring意为“拿来”、“带来”是指某物或某人从别处带到说话者所在的地方来，动作由远及近。
① Don’t forget to bring it here.
② Bring him with you to see me.

二、take为“带去”、“拿走”之意，指人或物从说话人所在地带到别处去，动作由近及远。
① Can you take these books to the classroom?
② I’ll take you to see your teacher.

三、carry表示搬运，也可以表示“肩挑”、“手提”，强调动作的移动性，不强调方向。
① He often carries water for the old man.
② The box is too heavy for me to carry.

四、 get意为“拿”、“取”指说话人所在地出发，把人或物带回原处，表示动作的往返。
① Can you get me some water?
② Please get a doctor at once..Bill is having a cold.

五、lift意为“抬、提、举”，表示把某物从某一低处般到某一高处，动作由低到高。
① Tom is lifting a basket of apples on to a tractor.
