Section B 2a—2e 一、【教材分析】教学目标知识目标 1.学习并掌握新词汇： chore; stress; waste; in order to; provide; anyway; depend; develop; fairness; fair; since; neighbor; ill; drop; independence; independent; 2. 能正确使用以下常用表达： A waste of time; there’s no need for… to; provide sth. for sb.; mind doing sth; do one’s part in doing sth.; in order to do sth; depend on ; take care of; fall ill; the earlier… the better… 3. 学会使用以下句型： 1) They don’t have time to study and do housework. 2) They should spend time on schoolwork in order to get good grades and get into a good university. 3) It is the parents’ job to provide a clean and comfortable environment at home for their children. 4) It’s not enough to just get good grades at school. 5) … that everyone should do their part in keeping it clean and tidy. 6) The earlier kids learn to be independent, the better it is for their future. 能力目标通过阅读训练，培养学生的良好的阅读理解能力，同时使学生通过阅读中心句的方式把握文章大意的技巧，对议论文中的观点进行进一步的解读，以实现对学生对家务劳动的深刻理解。情感目标通过本课的学习，不能过多依赖父母，要在学习之余，帮助父母做家务劳动是很重要的。教学重点重点词汇、常用表达及句型。对文章大意的把握。教学难点在理解两封信的基础上对文章进行进一步的解读。通过学生阅读查找相关的句子。（突破措施）教学方法略读法；任务型教学法。二学情分析本节课授课对象是八年级学生，学生在sectionA部分对有关家务劳动的话题已经接触过，已经掌握了相关的家务劳动的短语，以及如何做出礼貌的请求和征询许可的句型。对于孩子是否应该做家务劳动这个观点学生应该有话可说，但不知如何使用英语去表达，因此带着这个问题去学习使他们充满了了期待。三、【教学流程】环节师生活动二次备课 I. Greeting&Lead-in 1. Free talk “自由交际” 1) Make conversations like this: —Could you please do sth.? —Yes, I can. —Could I do sth.? —Sorry, you can’t. 2. Leading-in“导入新课” (1) Talk about whether they should help their parents do chores. (2) Discuss the questions with your partner, and answer the following questions: 1) What do you often do to help your parents at home? 2) Do you think kids should help out with chores at home?(让学生说出自己的观点,为后面的观点做出铺垫) Revision “复习检查” 通过检查“学案”中“新知预习”内容检查预习效果. II. Presentation 呈现 1，Skimming(略读) Skim the two letters. Which one agrees and which one disagrees? 2. Listen&mark T or F。 3.Second-reading . Read the two letters carefully and find what are the pros and cons about kids doing chores. Pros Cons Doing chores helps to develop children’s independence. Housework is a waste of children’s time. Check up the answers. 4. 朗读 (Loud Reading) 1) Read the passage by themselves. 2) 使用“学案”中“自主探究”部分的内容，体验语法以及语言知识点的使用方法。 ①Kids these days have enough stress from school.现在的孩子拥有来自学校的足够多的心里负担。 stress是名词，意思为“精神压力；心里负担”。例如：He’s too tired because of too much stress. 由于太多的压力他非常劳累。 ②They should spend their time on schoolwork in order to get good grades and get into a good university.他们应该用在学习上取得好成绩考入一个好大学。(教材第22页) spend…on/(in) doing sth,意思为“花费……在/做……”。例如：他花了十元钱买了这本书。 He spent ten yuan on the book. He spent ten yuan (in) buying the book. ③ I don’t mind doing them.做他们(家务)我不介意。(教材第22页) mind是动词，意思为“介意”，后常跟名词、代词或动名词形式。 I don’t mind it.我不介意。 Would you mind turning down the music? 你介意关小音乐吗？留出时间处理语言知识 III. Consolidation 巩固 1. IV.Summary 1. 引导学生小结梳理知识框架、让学生在评价中反思，在反思中进步。 Ask one of the students to say what they have learnt. Two letters Kid should do chores Mr.Smith agrees. Ms.Miller disagrees. Because... 四、【教后反思】本节课是一节阅读课，主要通过两封信来阐述孩子是否应该做家务。通过学习学生能够进行略读和查找细节来理解文章的观点和细节。现就本节课反思如下：通过阅读，完成了本节课设计的每个阅读任务，也掌握了略读的快速阅读方法，学生对分担家务劳动有了新的认识和定位，让学生懂得家庭责任感。课堂上大部分学生不能积极的大胆的发言，也许是怕犯错误，即使举手的同学回答问题及讨论时声音较小。对文章预习不够，部分生词不会发音及意思。课堂上学生的积极性不够高，造成课堂学习效率低，语言知识没来的及处理。
