My major is English, I am interested in English teaching and intercultural communication.
According to the arrangement of XXX University, I need to audit the following courses: Methods of Language Teaching, and Grammars of English. I will select Gender and Literature, American Ethnic writers，College Preparation writing and Foundation of Education and other cultural courses as well.
I will participate in a weekly discussion titled "XXX” ; participate in a bi-weekly discussion exploring topics related to American cultural studies; observing courses taught at XXXUNIVERSITY; Complete a research project in the field of English language teaching and an oral presentation to colleagues. I will do some research on my own projects as well.

No, my program is not coursework only. Beside auditing courses, I will do a research project in the field of English language teaching. And I will do some research on my own projects. One of my projects is “xxx”. Another is “xxx”, in which we want to find a better way to express those unique local cultures.

Research project in the field of English language teaching will promote my teaching skills after I get back to my students. My one year staying in the xxx University will enable me to improve my English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills as well. And I have opportunities to observe new ideas and methodologies of American education..
My projects “xxx” and “xxx” will help enhance the understanding of the language of English , American cultures, and authentic expression of English on xxx.
I can learn professional knowledge and research methods in intercultural communication and then to enhance my ability and skills in cross-cultural communication and corresponding research.
