2010年南京大学社会系暑期课程(7月4至7月20日)
城市文化研究 ◎ 石计生教授(台湾东吴大学社会系)

课程大纲

本课程将从城市空间，城市流行音乐与城市中的身体三大面向进行城市文化研究探究。
(1)第一周 (7月5、6、7、8日) 的「城市空间」部分：讲者将从大趋势论述西方城市空间现代与后现代，如列斐伏尔(H. Lefebvre)、福柯(M. Foucault)、哈维(D. Harvey)、苏贾(E. Soja)和纪登斯(A. Giddens)等理论之适切性。并将举讲者过去进行台湾宜兰与台北士林等研究为例，以定量、定性和社会地理讯息系统(SocGIS)多重方法的在地实践，反思社会学研究回到现实场域与原生理论创造的重要性。
(2) 而第二周(7月12、13、14、15日)的「城市流行音乐」部分，承袭第一周的反思，将以听歌讲课方式，研究从田野返回理论的可能。讲者从现象学「悬置」(bracketing)方法着手，以过去多年对于1960年代台湾歌谣与80年代校园民歌迄今的研究为例，1950-80年代日本演歌、台湾歌谣、黄梅调，西洋流行歌、校园民歌与群星会国语流行歌等的黑胶曲盘与翻录(如美空云雀、纪露霞、洪一峰、文夏、静婷，艺霞，刘文正、李双泽、胡德夫)，与现代大陆流行的城市民谣歌(周云蓬、李志、万晓利、张浅潜、老狼，洪启和左小诅咒等)，以大杂烩视角从歌曲的传唱，翻唱跨越城市界线流传，从历史向度探讨亚太地区几个城市，如台北、上海、南京、北京和京都等的不同城市文化精神性关连与分离，歌里乾坤，感受音乐，从中提炼理论高度。
(3) 第三周(19、20日) 「城市中的身体」将以比较观点，探讨传承千年的「道家身体」在当代资本主义城市空间中如何可能？将以讲者的几篇重要期刊文章与演讲为本，〈保守求生：论道家身体转向及其比较文化实践〉、〈「超现实」救赎之道：从本雅明寓言诗学到道家内丹学〉与「道家图说的宗教与身体艺术意涵：从荣格(C.G. Jung)论吕洞宾《太乙金华宗旨》谈起」等，所涉及的城市文化中的身体的精神性，本我与自我，与足下经验的行走等辩证作为本课程的结论。

课程要求

除了阅读指定书籍与文章外，听讲同学(可单独或分组)需于第一与第二周的主题「城市空间」与「城市流行音乐」缴交关于南京市的相关范畴短报告(3-5页)，本课程亦会安排师生一起进行实地城市文化踏查。
