一、 教学内容
本课时是外研版小学英语六年级下册Module 3 Unit 1 The sun is shining.部分。这一单元的第二部分是以书信的形式来展现课文的,在配以照片来描述重点句型,教师可在教授句型的同时,向学生展示英语书信的格式。
二、 教学目标
新英语课程标准指出,基础教学阶英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。而综合语言运用能力又以学生的语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面的综合素养为基础。
基于以上认识及本课的特点,我将教学目标确定为:
1、 知识目标:
听说认读单词:shine,cry,everyone,fly away,just以及学会运用现在进行时句型,例如:The sun is shing.等。
2、能力目标
(1)能了解动词的现在分词(即ing形式),并能运用到现在进行时中。
(2)能听懂理解课文的大致内容,能回答教师的问题。
(3)能运用本课所学习的内容进行表演或在创作,或在教师设置的情景中运用。
3、情感目标
图片/图片上的内容都来自于生活实际中,通过学习培养学生热爱生活,拥抱大自然的积极情感。
教学重难点:
现在进行时的结构和分词的构成
教学准备:
PPT,录音机,单词卡片,相关图片或照片。
教学过程:
Step 1、Warming-up(2minutes)
(1) Greetings
(2) Free talk
T:What’s the weather like today?
S:It’s sunny.
T:Do you like the sun?
S:Yes,I do.
T:Well,the sun is very lovely.Now,look at the picture,there is also a lovely day.It’s about a dog and a bird.Can you undersand it?(Yes)
Ok!Now Let’s say a chant together.(出示本课第一部分的chant)
Step 2 Lead-in(2minutes)
1、教师展示图片
T:Look at this pictrue.You can see some birds and some ducks.Look at some and answer my questions.(课件出示问题)What’s the weather like?
S: The sun is shining.
T:Great! The sun is shining.(板书课题,齐读课题,认识shining)This is our new lesson.
Step 3 Text learning(18minutes)
1.Learn some new words(Show the word cards and read the new words in different ways.)
2.T:I will ask you a question.Do you have any friends?(Yes./No.)I also have a friend.He is Daming.And now he wrote a letter for me.Do you want to see it?(Yes.)Ok!Now please open your books on page 14.
3.Lisening
(1)Listen and point.
(2)listen and think about some questions.
a.Did Daming miss everyone in China?
a.Did he have a interesting day on Saturday?
b.What did they do?
c.What is he sending?(He is sending some photos.)
T:Yes,Daming says:"I am sending some photos."(write it on the blackboard)
Photos?Do you want to know them ?(下面我们就看着图片,听听大明是怎样给这些照片做文字说明的。)
3、T: Play the tape :Have students listen.(结合课文插图来理解课文)
4、listen again and ask students to underline the new words with "ing".For example :sending ,shining,singing and so on.
5、请看这些含有“ing”词语的句子,请同学们找出这些句子的共同点,最后由老师总结:Be+动词的ing,表示正在发生的动作或发生的事情。然后鼓励学生运用这样的句型来描述正在发生的事情。For example :I'm looking at the blackboard. I am listening to you .I'm reading.
6、Play the tape again,ask the students to follow to repeat
7、Read the passage in group of four.(Check their work)
Step 4 Practice(10minutes)
1、 Finish the SB Part 4
(1) T:Now,let’s try to describe the photo by ourself.First,look at this picture.How to describe it?Think about it?
S: ... .
T:Good!(出示所给出的例句)Now,please open your books on page 16 Part 4.You can choose two photos and talk about them to your partner.(pair work)
(2)Check the students’work
2、 Play a game:Weather,Person,Action
T:There are three boxes.And there are also some informations in it.You can choose it and make up sentences.Like this:(准备三个盒子,一个盒子里放有关天气的图片,一个盒子里放人物的图片,一个盒子里放表示动作的图片)学生分别从三个盒子中摸取一张,联系起来说出一个完整的句.
Step 5 Consolidation(5minutes)
T:Today,we have learnt how to write a letter ,now let’s write a letter to your friend.First,let’s look an example.Look at the screen.(课件展示写好的信,让学生填空并仿照例子给自己的朋友写一封信)

1、Talk about some photos of themselves.
2、实践作业:
观察一下,你的家人在晚上七点到七点半这段时间都在干什么?(并用英语记录下来)
