Knowledge and skills To develop students’ abilities to writing. 2.Process and methods Writing:To train the students’ writing ability Explanation:To help the students master the language point Discussion: To help the student’s summarize the grammatical rules 3.Emotion and values Let the children become interested in English.Develop the students’ ability of discovering,analyzing and using grammar. 重 难 点 1.Teaching key points: To develop students’ abilities to writing. 2.Teaching difficult points: tense and sentences. 教法 学法 Task-based teaching method ,student-based teaching method, cooperative learning method 教学过程 备注 Teaching Procedures and purposes: Step 1 :lead-in I will use some pictures to lead in.Such as:《Journey to the West》 How did they get to the west ?On foot.By horse? We think it’s too slowly.But they can use a fast way to get the classics now. MR.TANG can use emails or qq.He can get the classics easily. So we can know that the Internet plays an important role in society. Many students think we can ;earn all we need on the Internet.Somebody disagree with it. Now starts step 2. Step 2 :Read the short essay(p56) and answer the questions. 1.What is the idea that the author supports? The author’s opinion is that we can learn all we need on the Internet. 2.Why he support it? 1)especially on the subject of learning English. 2) That means that we each other have one minute of our teacher’s time! 3) but she can’t help everyone in the class in 50 minutes. 4)It would be much better if we spent the time working on a computer. 5)There are 45 computers in our school, so we could do that. 6)If we work independently, we can learn much more. Step 3 :write a short essay together. 1. Topic:whether students in high school can go to school with mobile phones. 2. Structure:lead in、support、nonsupport、own opinion 3. Write together and correct. Step 4 :discussion 1.organize children to discuss their opinion. whether students in high school can go to school with mobile phones. Agree or not?and why? Children discuss in groups,and have a pk. 2. share their opinion. Step 5 :sentences I will give more sentences which can improve writing skills.And call the children to make up more other sentences.How to show their opinions. Eg:i don’t agree with this opinion... ... 1. Lead in:(1) Recently our class had a heated discussion about whether ... or not.(2) There have been many reports of ...(3) People hold different opinions about ...(4) The reasons for that are as follows. 2. Support:Some are in favor of ...; Some support ...; The majority of them think ...; Many of them are for ...; There are many advantages of ...; play an important part in; be of vital significance; benefit a lot from ... 3. Nonsupport:Others are against ...; Some hold the different view that ...; Some hold the view that ...; 60% of the students think it is ... to; There are also some disadvantages of ... 4. Connection:firstly, secondly, besides, in addition, what’s more, furthermore, in a word, in short, what is important is that ..., even worse, What disappoints sb. most is that ... 5. Summary:in my opinion; in my view; Personally, I think ...; Taking everything into consideration, we should make good use of ...; Only in this way can we do ... Step6:writing Recently our class had a heated discussion about whether high school students can go to school with mobile phones. Our opinions are as follows. Some students think mobile phones can help them keep in touch with their friends, especially their family.whenever they need. Besides, games in the mobile phone offer more fun to them. However, the other students think they should not bring their mobile phones to the class, because the ring of phones can disturb teachers and students in class, and even worse,it will influence their study. Meanwhile they will spend too much time and money on phone calls and sending messages. Personally, I’m strongly against students using mobile phones in class. Only in this way, we can create a quiet environment for our studies. Step 7:Summary and exercise Ask somebody to share summary.Give some exercises. 板 书 设 计 On the left,i will show the support.
