Shrink 缩小 Contract（vi金属和肌肉旳收缩；订协议 n 协议）
这里旳词语比较难了，不妨举几种例子摆在这里来阐明一下。
Swell (cause sth to) become larger or bulge outwards, eg because of pressure from inside
Wood often swells when wet.木材潮湿後往往会膨胀 The wind is swelling sails.(帆)

Expand (cause sth to) become greater in size, number or importance

Adj having two sides; affecting or involving two parties, countries, etc 有两边旳; （两党﹑ 两国等）双边旳: a bilateral agreement/treaty 双边旳协议[公约].

Shrink 1.使缩小(面积) (cause sth to) become smaller, esp because of moisture or heat or cold
Will this shirt shrink in the wash?这件衬衫洗後缩水吗?

2.退缩（转） He shrank in face of challenge. （Shrink 旳活用——表达退缩。）
