The Spring Festival
Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It is between lunar late January and late February. Several weeks ago, people begin to prepare for something, such as cleaning rooms, going shopping, etc.
During the Spring Festival, relatives and friends get together to express their own minds ,ideas and feelings, eat dumplings, drink wine, etc. Especially children, they are so happy, because they can wear new clothes, get lucky money in red paper, set off firecrackers and so on.
Every year people also paste new year paintings and couplets, stay up late on New Year’s Eve, watch lion and dragon dances, visit relatives and so on.
