Warming up
I. Give students some time to look at the picture at page 131. Discuss the questions:
1. When do people celebrate Halloween?
2. What do children do on that night?
II. Tell the students that they will read a conversation talking about festivals.
Presentation of Reading
I. Ask the students to read the words and expressions in the box of exercise 1 at page 131 before the students begin to learn the text.
II. Ask them to listen and read the conversation. The students could get help from the others or their teachers when they have some difficulties in reading.
III. Ask the students to read the conversation again and finish exercise 3 at page 131.
IV. Ask them to read the conversation again and do exercise 4 at page 132.
V. Ask the students to work in groups and finish exercise 6 at page 132.
Reading Practice
Ask the students to do exercise 3 at page 134.
