Urbanization: Good or Bad
Presently, there is a tendency that a growing number of people are moving from countryside into city annually and the city is constantly broadening. This phenomenon is urbanization。
In the process of modern urban development, we often find ourselves in a dilemma。 Is urbanization good or bad for us? To my mind， the disadvantages of urbanization overweigh the advantages. Urbanization can lead to social and economic progress, but also bring a series of problems。
To begin with, a increasing number of city dwellers lead to the serious of housing and transportation. We know that if a certain kind of product’s output is limited and it’s needed by large number of people, its price will go higher. The price of dwelling or houses is continually rising, especially in China。 The housing prices in some regions is gonging so mad that only billionaires can afford it。 The center of city would be even lack for parking place and the daily heavy traffic jams always happen.
In addition， with the increasing number of individuals going into cities， the inequalities which driven by social divisions and differences in wealth， could result in the violence and the crime。
Besides， urbanization caused the environmental emergency。 In the past few decades， many transformed from a small town to a modern city, however， this great change indeed made the environment getting worse。 What’s more， climate change became one of the most serious problems.
However， urbanization can increase a country’s economy. Maybe we can successfully make the most of its advantages to deal with the problems caused by urbanization.
