11、ake up until the bed had struck the ground. Although the bed was smashed to pieces, the man was miraculously unhurt. When he woke up, he was still on the mattress. Glancing at the bits of wood and metal that lay around him, the man sadly picked up the mattress and carried it into his house. After he

14、re, the conductor said. This is as far as we go. Is this Woodford Green ? I asked. Oh dear, said the conductor suddenly. I forgot to put you off. It doesnt matter, I said. Ill get off here. In this way, he was able to solve the mystery. The explanation was simple but very unusual. A bird had snatched up the snake from the groun

23、d and then dropped it on to the wires. The snake then wound itself round the wires. When it did so, it sent sparks down to the ground and these immediately started a fire.Lesson54 Sticky fingers 粘糊的手指After breakfast, I sent the children to school and then I went to market. It was still early when I

24、returned home. The children were at school, my husband was at work and the house was quiet. So I decided to make some tarts for tea. 26、nobs. I had no sooner got back to the kitchen than the door-bell rang loud enough to wake the dead. 27、 has been invented and it has been used to detect gold which has been buried in the ground. The machine was used in a cave near the seashore where-it is said-pirates used to hide gold. The pirates would often bury gold in the cave and then fail to collect it. Armed with the new machine, a search par

28、ty went into the cave hoping to find buried treasure. The leader of the party was examining the soil near the entrance to the cave when the machine showed that there was gold under the ground. Very excited, the party dug a hole two feet deep. They finally found a small gold coin which was almost wor

29、thless. The party then searched the whole cave thoroughly but did not find anything except an empty tin trunk. In spite of this, many people are confident that The Revealer may reveal something of value fairly soon.Lesson56 Faster than sound! 比声音还快!Once a year a race is held for old cars. A lot of c

30、ars entered for this race last year and there was a great deal of excitement just before it began. One of the most handsome cars was a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. The most unusual car was a Benz which had only three wheels. Built in 1885, it was the oldest car taking part. After a great many loud expl

31、osions, the race began. Many of the cars broke down on the course and some drivers spent more time under their cars than in them ! A few cars, however, completed the race. The winning car reached a speed of forty miles an hour-much faster than any of its rivals. It sped downhill at the end of the ra

32、ce and its driver had a lot of trouble trying to stop it. The race gave everyone a great deal of pleasure. It was very different from modern car races but no less exciting. 33、or a moment, she finally went in and asked to see a dress that was in the window. The assistant who served her did not like the way she was dressed. 43、化工设计研究院有关玉米淀粉装置生产及设计资料e) 其它文件1.1.4 项目提出的理由与过程a) 从项目层次分析*有限公司是根据国际商业公司法规定,经英国政府批准,于2004年在维尔京群岛的洛德镇注册的一家国际商业公司,主要从事国际项目投融资及世界各国进出口贸易等,随着经济全球化和信息化的日益加强,为更直接、更全面地与中国政府及企业沟通和联系,经董事会研究决定,加大对中国境内的投资,主要投资的对象是农产品深加工项目。目前在中国境内已经投资了五家企业,所投资的公司生产的主要产品有:玉米淀粉、冰醋酸、巴豆醛、变性淀粉等以玉米为原料的产品。截至2006年实现销售收入近20亿元人民币,利润近2亿元人民币

44、。*有限公司为进一步扩大在中国的投资,经过多方调察研究选中*省*县作为投资伙伴,拟投资15亿元人民币,建设年加工200万吨的玉米深加工项目。b) 从国民经济全局分析*省是我国粮食的主产区之一,2004年粮食播种面积和产量均创历史新高,粮食播种面积821.6万公顷,粮食产量3135万吨,其中玉米产量达1050万吨,占粮食产量的三分之一。长期以来为解决我国13亿的吃粮问题做出了重要贡献,但是与其他产粮大省比较,玉米加工水平存在较大差距,山东省玉米产量占全国总产量的11.5%,而玉米加工量占全国46%,吉林省玉米产量占全国13.89%,玉米加工量占21%,而*省玉米产量占全国7.21%。而加工量只占

45、5%。因此玉米不能層值,“三农”问题突出。2004年十届全国人大二次会议提出:把解决“三农”问题作为政府全部工作的“重中之重”。过去农业为我国工业发展做出了重大贡献,随着经济的发展,现在我国已经初步具备了工业反哺农业,城市支持乡村的经济实力。建设大型玉米深加工企业,对玉米进行深层次的加工,使玉米增值,变资源优势为经济优势,提高种植玉米的经济效益,增强农民种粮的积极性,是在玉米产区落实国家关于解决“三农”问题的重要途径。*省玉米资源丰富,常年玉米产量均在1000万吨以上,而且增产的潜力还很大,因此发展玉米深加工工业,不仅有利于解决“三农”问题,同时还可以变资源优势为经济优势,促进地区经济的发展,

46、为振兴*省经济增加新的亮点。1.2项目概况1.2.1项目拟建地点 本项目拟建于*省*县新站粮食工业园区,园区位于*县城的西北隅地经场的南侧,林肇路北面,预计占地面积约100公顷,场内地势低洼平坦,是一片草地,地上无咐着物,适宜建厂。 1.2.2项目建设规模与目标1.2.2.1建设规模本项目规划的建设规模为年加工玉米200万吨,生产淀粉、淀粉糖、冰醋酸、醋酸脂等。为便于筹措资金和方便市场开发,本项目拟采取分期建设的方式进行。一期工程建设规模为年加工净玉米60万,年工作日300天,每天24小时连续生产,相当于每年加工商品玉米61.8万吨。主要产品为商品淀粉、粗玉米油、玉米蛋白粉、玉米纤维饲料等。为

47、二期建设淀粉深加工产品预先奠定原料基础。1.2.2.2建设目标本项目的建设目标是建设一座现代化的大型玉米深加工企业。通过采用国内先进技术和设备,引进国外专有技术和设备,实现玉米深层次地加工,生产淀粉糖及其玉米化工产品等。确保质量达到国际水平,并实现清洁生产,三废达标排放。一期工程将建成年加工玉米61.8万吨能力的国内大型玉米淀粉生产企业。生产满足深加工需要和市场要求的淀粉及其副产品。通过转化61.8万吨玉米,可增加就业500多人,拉动区域经济发展,增加地区财政收入。1.2.3项目建设主要条件a)玉米资源丰富*省是我国玉米黄金带的北起点,正常年产玉米1000万吨左右。*县位于*省西南部,松嫩两江的左岸,境内水、草、田三分天下,土质肥沃、集中连片,素有“塞北江南”、“鱼米之乡”的美誉。夏季日照时间长,高温多雨,雨热同季,为粮食作物生长提供了良好条件;秋短温差大,全年有效积温3000度左右,有利于粮食作物营养积累;是全国商品粮基地县,全省的产粮大县,牧业大县,渔业大县。2005年粮食产量60万吨,周边肇州、肇东、兰西、前郭、扶余、大安等县的玉米钟植面积825万亩,产量达454万吨,*又是周围几个市县的玉米集散地地,玉米资源丰富。b)运输便利厂址面临林肇公路,铁路专用线可以直接进入厂区,与干线相连。县内公路、水陆、铁路畅通,交通运输十分方便。c)规模经济,有利于参与国际竞争中国在加入WT
