表示方位的介词小结

1、意义相反的几组介词
above (在……上方) below(在……下方)
over( 在……正上方) under（在……正下方）
　in (在......内)　　　　　　　　　　　　　　out of (在......外)
in front of (在......前面)　　　　　　　　　　behind (在……后面)
inside (在……里面) outside (在……外边)
up (向上) down (向下)
on (登上) off (离开)
right （右边） left （左边）
2、between表示两者之间；among表示在三者或三者以上之间；opposite相反的。
3、by表示“就在旁边”，较near更近；
beside表示“近旁”，“紧靠”，相当于next to；
near表示“在……附近”，“距离不远”，反义词是far。
4、across 从物体表面“穿过，通过”；
而through则表示从物体内部“穿过；通过”。
5、in front of “在范围外的前面”；
　 in the front of “在范围内的前面”。
6、A is on B’s right =A is on the right of B. A在B的右边；
A is on B’s left = A is on the left of B. A在B的左边。
7、in the middle/center of 在……的中间
8、east，west，south，north东西南北　
　 southeast, northeast, southwest, northwest　东南、东北、西南、西北]
(1). in the east 与on the east.
in the east　表示我们生活中和地理位置上的绝对方向。
　　　　　 The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. 太阳东升西落。
　on the east 表示某事物位于另一事物所朝的方向。这里的方向是相对而言的。
China faces the Pacific on the east. 中国位于太平洋的东侧。
(2). in(to, on) the east of
-A在B范围之内的东部 A is in the east of B.
e.g. Japan is in the east of Asia. 日本在亚洲东部。
-A在B范围之外的东部 A is to the east of B
e.g. Japan lies to the east of China. 日本在中国的东方。
-A在B的东部(A和B相邻) A is on the east of B.
e.g. Guangdong is on the south of Hunan.
9、练习：
(1).在校园的中央是一座新建成的教学楼。图书馆在新楼的西侧。
In the middle of the school there is a new teaching building. The library is to the west of the new building.
(2).操场在新楼的南边，它很大。
The playground is to the south of the new building, and it’s very big.
