一、 一般过去时
和一般过去式连用的时间状语
1、 yesterday,the day before yesterday等
2、 last month, last year,last Sunday等
3、 a moment ago, two hours ago,twenty minutes ago,ten years ago等
4、 in 2000,once, in the spring of 2000等

　III. 一般过去时的几种句型 
　肯定句结构为：主语+动词的过去式+其它。
如：He went to the toy store yesterday. 他昨天去玩具店了。  
否定句结构为：主语+did not (didn’t)+动词原形+其它。
如：He didn’t go to the toy store yesterday. 他昨天没去玩具店。 
　　一般过去时的一般疑问句的构成：Did+主语＋动词原形＋其它？如： 
　　1) -Did you go to Beijing last week? 
　　-Yes, we did. (No, we didn’t.) 
　　2) -Did you meet the businessman before? 
　　-No, I didn’t. (Yes, I did.) 
　　一般过去时的特殊疑问句的构成：疑问词＋did+主语＋动词原形＋其它？如： 
　　1) -What did you do last night? 
　　-I did my homework. 
　　2) -Where did you go last week? 
　　-I went to Shanghai with my parents.　
1 、规则
　　词：规则动词的过去分词的构成规则与规则动词的过去式的构成规则相同。四点变化规则：
　　(1)、一般动词，在词尾直接加“ ed ”。（然而要注意的是，过去分词并不是过去式）
　　work---worked---worked ,visit---visited---visited
　　(2)、以“ e ”结尾的动词，只在词尾加“ d ”。
　　live---lived---lived ,
　　(3)、以“辅音字母 + y ”结尾的动词，将 "y" 变为 "i" ，再加“ ed ”。
　　study---studied---studied ,cry---cried---cried ,
　　(4)、重读闭音节结尾，末尾只有一个辅音字母，先双写该辅音字母，再加“ ed ”。
　　stop---stopped---stopped , drop---dropped--dropped
二、 过去进行时
1、 与过去进行时连用的时间状语
（1） 表示在过去时刻的时间状语。如：at seven o’clock , yesterdaymorning,at this time last night等
（2） 表示过去的某一段时间。如：yesterday evening, last night, this morning,all the day, the day yesterday等
2、 含有when或while 引导的时间状语从句中的过去进行时
（1） 从句中动词动作先于主句中动词动作发生，且进行的时间较长时，从句中用过去进行时（主句用一般过去式）
（2） 主句中动词动作先于从句中动词动作发生，且进行的时间较长时，主句用过去进行时（从句常用一般过去时）
（3） 若主从句动作开始的时间不存在先后关系（即同时发生）或无所谓先后时，主从句可同时使用过去进行时，此时的时间状语从句一般由while引导。
3、过去进行时的几种句型：
1）肯定句：主语+ was/were +V.ing +其他。
如：I was watching TV at eight last night.
2)否定句：主语+ was/were + not+V.ing +其他。
如：I was not watching TV at eight last night.
3)一般疑问句： Was/ Were +主语+V.ing+其他？
肯定回答：Yes, 主语+ was/were. 如：Yes, I was.
否定回答：No, 主语+ wasn’t/weren’t .如：No, I wasn’t.
4)特殊疑问句： 特殊疑问词+ was/were+v.ing+其他？
I was watching TV at eight last night.
特殊疑问句： What are you doing at eight last night?
