（1）问年龄：---How old are you? ----- I’m _______ (years old).

（2）问物品的情况：
① ---How large is your room? 你的房间有多大？

③--- How big are your feet? (= What size are your shoes?) 你的脚有多长？

（3）形容“A比B更… …”
A + be（am/ is/ are）+ ( even/much ) adj-er +than +B.
如：I am taller than you. 我比你高。
I am 4 cm taller than your brother. 我比你弟弟高4cm .
I am taller and stronger than your brother. 我比你的弟弟更高更壮。
Jack is even stronger than his father. 甚至比他爸爸还壮。
It’s taller than both of us together. 它比我俩加起来还高。
Your feet are bigger than mine. 你的脚比我的大。
Zhang Peng and John are much younger than Mr.Green. 张鹏和John 比Mr. Green 要年轻多了。
否定句——在 be（am/ is/ are）后加not
（4） 形容“A和B一样......”
A +be（am/ is/ are）+as + 形容词原级 + as + B .
如：This boy is as old as that boy.
I am as tall as you.
否定句——在 be（am/ is/ are）后加not——not so/as......as
（5） 形容“A在......里最......”
A +be（am/ is/ are）+the + adj-est + 介词短语（表范围）.
如：That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall. 那是这个厅里最高的恐龙。
Who is the tallest in your class? 你们班谁最高？

【语法要点】
1、形容词比较级在句子中的运用：两个事物或人的比较用比较级，比较级后面一般带有单词than。
例句：（1）It's taller than both of us together. 它比我俩加起来还高。
（2）Your feet are bigger than mine. 你的脚比我的大。
（3）I’m heavier than you. 我比你重。
2、形容词加er的规则：
（1）一般在词尾加er ；如：tall---taller
（2）以字母e 结尾，加r ；如：nice---nicer
（3）以一个元音字母和一个辅音字母结尾，应双写末尾的辅音字母，再加er ；如：big--- bigger ，  thin---- thinner
（4）以“辅音字母+y”结尾，先把y变i，再加er 。heavy----heavier
