人教版七年级英语下册Unit5Why do you like pandas?教学设计 跃进中学 王克平 教材分析 本单元围绕“动物园里的动物”为主题,要求学生通过学习能通过听、说、读、写的形式描述动物及表达自己的喜好。 学习用单词、短语描述各种动物的特征,熟练运用What、Why、Where引导的特殊疑问句询问和表达喜欢的动物是什么、为什么、地点在哪里。通过学习,能掌握表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词,学会使用情态动词can、must、一般疑问句、否定疑问句和祈使句来表达动物的外貌特征、习性、面临的处境和正确的做法,学会用能自主的去搜寻关于珍稀动物的资料,提高学生关心动物和爱护自然的认识。 学情分析 本单元的主题是描述动物的外貌特征和谈谈自己的喜好,围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动,使学生正确使用What、Why、Where引导的特殊疑问句来询问并正确回答关于的动物的话题。在对话操练的时候会使用许多形容词,可以回顾以前学过的单词。并使用情态动词can、名词的复数形式以及单三形式表达动物的习性和生存环境,这些内容学生之前有接触过,但是有部分同学掌握的不是很好,所以要用对话操练的形式多加练习,达到巩固的目的。 教学目标 Knowledge aims: Handle the words of animals and the got the adjectives to express preferences. Ability aims: Guide the Ss use the structures with Why questions and Let’s see to ask and answer what the animals like and how they like them. Emotional aims: Learn to share feelings with your classmates, try to build a good relationship with each other. 教学重点和难点 Teaching key points: Handle the words and expressions about animals. Teaching difficult points: Learn to use the Why questions to ask and to use the Because sentences to express the reason. 教学过程 教学环节 教师活动 预设学生行为 设计意图 Step1 Lead in Free talk . T: What animals do you like ? Ss will speak out the words they’ve learned . Dog , cat , fish… Review and lead in the new part. Step 2 New words Step3 pairwork Adjectives/show the dialogue. Step 4 Writing Step 5 Homework 1、Present the new words by showing the pictures. Let Ss guess which animal it is.Try to read the words aloud according to the phonetic symbol. Attract the interest of the Ss, they can memory the words deeply in this way. 2、practice the new words. Make conversations using the new words. What’s it ? It’s a elephant. Do you like it ? yes/no. Consolidation. Groupwork . 1、A map of the zoo. Do you like elephant? Why?Show the ajectives. Cute,fun,interesting, Clever,Smart,lazy and beautiful. 2、1a listen to the tape. A:Let’s see the lions. B:Why do you want to see them? A: Because they’re interesting. 1、Do a survey in the class. 2、Hand in the reports. The reports and the workbook of the first period. let Ss try to describe the animals they like or dislike. Then let the Ss practice the conversation in the group. Try to make their own dialogue. Interview some Ss in your group about what animals they like or dislike and why by using the structures in our class. Do you like …? Why do you like them? Write down the result. Working in pairs to enable the ability of cooperation. Dare to exchange self- feelings. Train their oral English and try to seek for the answer. Speaking tend to writing. 板书设计
