不用进行时的动词

　1) 事实状态的动词
have, belong, possess, cost, owe, exist, include, contain, matter, weigh, measure, continue
　　I have two brothers.
　　This house belongs to my sister.
　2) 心理状态的动词
know, realize, think see, believe, suppose, imagine, agree, recognize, remember, want, need, forget, prefer, mean, understand, love, hate
　　I need your help.
　　He loves her very much.
　3 ) 瞬间动词
accept, receive, complete, finish, give, allow, decide, refuse.
　　I accept your advice.
　4) 系动词
seem, remain, lie, see, hear, smell, feel, taste, get, become, turn
　　You seem a little tired.
通常不用进行时的动词，如用在进行时态里，都具有特殊的含义。
1.like/love/prefer/desire/dislike/hate/fear/locate/please/bore/think/believe/deem/consider/imagine/know/suppose/hope/want/wish/expect/remember/mind/forget/forgive/understand/recognize/satisfy/surprise/etc等词通常不用于进行时。用于进行时
表示强调或感情色彩。
  eg: Tom said it's not a job he was liking.
      She is fearing this. (表示一时的感情)
2.比较：I think(=It seems to me) it's going to rain.
        What are you thinking of? (强调think)
        What do you think of it? (强调what)
3.be hoping更常用在口语里。
  eg: I'm hoping to see him.
4. want/wish/forget:
  eg: Are you wanting a TV set by any chance?万一能搞到一台电视机，你要吗？
      I'm forgetting my French.
5. be living, be lying, be standing.
  eg: He lives in Shanghai. (定居)
      He is living in Shanghai. (暂时居住)
      The house stands on a hill. (表示永久性的状态)
      The man is standing on the rock.(表示一时的状态)
6.be+having: 这里的have已转意为enjoy/take/eat/receive/experience的意思。
  eg: We are having a good time.

形式上
不用逗号“，”与主句隔开。
用逗号“，”与主句隔开。
意义上
是先行词不可缺少的定语，如删除，主句则失去意义或意思表达不完整。
只是对先行词的补充说明，如删除，主句仍能表达完整的意思。
关系词的使用上
A．作宾语时可省略

as，which是指代主句内容的非限制性定语从句时，表依据、评论与表事实、状态等没有多大差别，又在主句末时，有时可以通用。
　　1．He is quite pleased，as ／which can be seen from his face．他非常高兴，从他的表情可以看出来。
　　2．You always work hard，as ／which everyone knows．大家都知道，你一向勤奋学习。
　　但是，上面两句把定语从句置主句句首时，就只能用as。
　　3．This elephant is like a snake，as anybody can see．像任何人都能看见那样，这头象像条蛇。
4．Bamboo is hollow，which makes it very light．竹子是空的，这就使得它很轻。
在否定意义的非限制性定语从句里，一般用which引导。
