本单元的话题是描述人的相貌,通过SectionA及SectionB第一课时的学习,学生已经掌握了谈论相貌的基本句型、词汇,并初步能够听懂关于该话题的简单对话;本课为Section B第二课时,是关于本话题的阅读训练,话题有趣,引人入胜;但是里面的生词和长难句,可能会影响学生理解,因此读前活动宜尽量扫除学生词汇障碍,阅读任务的设置也不宜太难。
