(Purpose: Revise the grammar of last lesson and lead to the information of this lesson.)Step 2: Pre-readinga.PresentationMillie are happy to make some new friends. Lets meet her new friends. Then take out the charts Kitty and Amy: Read Part A1 and answer: Is Amys hair short? What about Kitty? What do they like doing？ (Purpose: Read in silence and catch the information we can learn before listening.)b. Learn the new words.Put the charts and write the information of two people on the blackboard, then teach the words “hair; age; hobby; looks; cute” Such as, age: Mille is twelve years old. Millies age is 12. Yao Mings age is hobby: Millie likes reading. Millies hobby is reading. Jack Zhous hobby is looks: Is she fat? Is she slim?
