《Unit 4 A charity showl》Period 3 Reading（1）

Step 1 Making sentences
To begin with, let’s try to make as many sentences as possible with expressions from “Comic strips & welcome to the unit” .

Step 3 Reading and answering
Now open your book to page 62 to read the text for the first time and answer the following questions:
Who was the host?
What was his job? (His job was to introduce each star.)
How did Ricky feel when he was chosen to be the host? (He was excited but nervous.)
Why did he feel nervous? (Because of the TV cameras.)
What was the result of the show? (They had a lot of support from local businesses. )
Do you think the show was a success?
Step 4 Finding out all the useful expressions
Go over the text Hosting a charity show to find out all the useful expressions.
