Why?3 Set an example to the students.4、Let students find out the problems on learning English.5 、Give students some minutes to read the passage and finish the table.6、Explain the difficulties of the passage.Give students a situation & encourage them to write a letter about how to learn English well.1、Students complete the blanks How to learn English well ? 1. We should always speak English in class.2. Lets try to speak English as much as possible.3. Why not write down the mistakes in our notebooks?4.Dont forget to write down the correct answers next to the mistakes. 5. Its a good idea to spell and pronounce new words aloud every day.6. The first question is about understanding English. The second question is about speaking English. The third question is about learning vocabulary.5、Students read the passage by themselves and complete the table. Then check the answers with the parters.6、Find out the sentences that they dont understand.Finish Activity5.Write the letter by themselves.1、学生对Why not do, Howwhat about doing等结构掌握得不够牢固。 2、本活动的目的在于激发本单元话题，为下面的阅读提供帮助。（但会出现不会表达的词汇）3、学生可能不会读conversationNatural等较难的单词。4、学生感觉困难 学生对于部分语句中出现的含有不定时结构的句型不理解。学生的英语基础不够牢固，不能完整地表达意思。1、教师可以让学生多练习句型并总结提炼结构。2、可以让学生根据信息进行口头汇报。3、可以让会读的同学教大家读。也可以老师领大家拼读。教师提示学生找出段落的关键词、关键句。教师可作简单的介绍，不宜作深入的分析。教师要作适当的点拨和指导。在今后的学习中多进行操练。 让学生多跟读磁带。板书设计What questions do you have about?The first question is about understanding English.
