Step1 Warming-up (Activity1)
1. List words about weather
2. Make sentences with these weather
3. Make dialogues like this:
---What’s the weather like in Guangdong?
---It’s hot.
---How’s the weather in you

Step2 Listening (Activity2-6)
1. Listen to the weather forecast. (Activities 2&3)
First, make Ss be familiar with how to express temperature in weather report.
Then, listen to the tape and finish the exercises.
Then check answers.
2. Listen and check. ( Activity 4, 5 & 6)
First, listen and answer questions.
Then, listen to the tape again, finish Activity6.
Then work in pairs and check answers.
Open books and finish Activity 5.
Read after the tape and then work in groups of three.
Act out the dialogue.
