1、 Unit 4 I have a pen pal A Let’s learn 顺德一中附小新德业学校 李汝生 上课时间:2012年5月10日 上课地点:顺德一中附小新多媒体教室 听课人员:全体英语老师 二、学生分析: 随着年龄的增长,五年级的学生已经不像低年级的学生那么活泼好动,上课时变得文静而不喜欢表现自我。小学高年级学生抽象思维较中低段有较大提高,他们不再像原来一样过多关注表层,而是转向内涵的探究。因此高年级的英语教学应更多关注语言的运用,语言的真实运用,语言的综合运用。例如:用英语解决他们喜欢解决的问题,就像本节课的内容一样,让学生们讨论
2、自己的爱好。爱好是学生乐于讨论的问题,学生可以运用所学的英文句型进行讨论,可以增加他们的成功感,增强他们学习英语的兴趣。此外,学生们在四年级的时候接触了现在进行时中动词加ing分词的结构,这有利于学生进一步学习动名词的变化规则。 三、教材分析: 本课是PEP教材六年级上册Unit 4 的第一课时,内容贴近学生们的生活,话题能吸引学生们的兴趣,语言真实易学。本课内容主要的目的是要学生掌握如何询问别人的爱好及如何表达自己的爱好。本节课的思想内容是:鼓励学生发展广泛的兴趣与爱好,培养学生们乐于与人交往的性格。本课时的重点是掌握五个爱好的词组,并且能够把词组与句型相结合使用。其难点就是总结动名词的
3、变化规律即动词加ing的变化规律及当主语是第三人称单数时,动词like的变化。在教学内容的处理上,既充分考虑全班同学的语言接受能力,又兼顾学生智能和个性的差异,因此,本课内容增加了句型“What’s his/her hobby? He/She likes…”的学习运用,以便拓展学生的语言综合运用能力。 四、教学目标: 1. 知识目标: (1)能够听、说、读、写动词短语的ing形式:collecting stamps, riding a bike, diving, playing the violin, making kites。 (1)能够听、说、认读句子:What is your h
4、obby? I like collecting stamps. 能熟练地运用句型询问和简单描述业余爱好。 2.能力目标: (1)运用CAI刺激学生的感官,培养他们的观察能力和思维能力。 (2)让学生自主发现动词变名词时加ing的规律,掌握记忆方法,培养学生自主学习的能力。 3.情感目标: (1)鼓励学生发展广泛的兴趣与爱好。 (2)通过各种活动,培养学生乐于与人交往的性格。 五、教学策略: (1)情景教学法。老师通过创设为学生们日常生活相接近的生活情景,让学生们更容易理解,习得新知识,并能在情景中自然运用。 (2)任务型教学法。给学生以任务,让学生在目的中学习,有目的地进行
5、交流。 (3)活动教学法。根据教学目标和教学内容,开展各种活动,让学生在活动中操练、巩固、运用。 (4)小组合作学习法。通过与同组同学的交流、讨论,共同协作,完成学习任务,培养学生的合作意识和集体荣誉感。 六、教学重难点: 1. 能够掌握词组collecting stamps, riding a bike, diving , playing the violin, making kites与句型What is your hobby? I like …并能熟练地运用句型询问和简单描述业余爱好。 2. 能够掌握单词riding, diving, making的拼写,及掌握动名词的变化规律
6、 七、教学准备: A部分Let’s learn的单词卡片,课件。 八、教学过程: Step 1 : Warm-up 1. Free talk:(通过师生间的口语交流,巩固复习旧知识,集中学生们的注意力,拉近师生间的距离) T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today? Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you? T: I’m very well, thanks. What day is it today? Ss: It’s Wednesday. T: What’s your favourite season
7、 Ss: I like fall/spring best. T: Yes, I like fall best. Fall is the best time to go hiking. I love going hiking. I often go hiking on my holiday. Do you love going hiking? 2. Sing a song “I loving going hiking.” with the action. (学生边唱边跟教师做相应的动作。通过唱歌的活动,吸引同学们的注意,提高同学们的学习兴趣,并为新句型学习作铺垫) Step 2 :Pr
8、esentation 1. 教师从歌曲引出本课时的题目: T: It’s a beautiful song. I like going hiking. I have a pen pal. She likes going hiking too. She often goes hiking on the weekend.教师出示笔友照片的课件,然后板书题目Unit 4 I have a pen pal.教学单词pen pal的发音。 2. 教师用旧句型引出新句型,从询问日常的动作过渡学习如何询问爱好句型。 T: I like going hiking, What about you? S
9、s: I like……(例如:reading a magazine, watching TV等) T: Great. You like_______, so I can say your hobby is___________. 教师教句型: What’s your hobby?学生学习hobby的发音,并引导学生把回答说出来: I like …或者My hobby is …(把句型板书在黑板上) 5. 教师利用课件把Pen pal的四个爱好展现出来。针对小学生对事情充满好奇心的性格,教师会先把另外三个爱好的图片用其它图片掩盖起来,然后通过各种不同的手法展现给学生) T: Look

Be careful when you ride a bike.(在讨论自行车的时候,教师会对学生们进行思想教育,提醒同学们骑自行车必须要小心,联系Unit2的交通规则) 6.教师在呈现第三个爱好的时候,让学生们猜猜在动的是什么,从而引出词组making kites. T: Look at the picture, Guess what is it
