形容词、副词比较级和最高级
1. 基本用法
(一) 形容词： 形容词 + 名词 系动词 + 形容词
系动词: (1) be: am/ is/ are/ was/ were
(2) look/ sound/ taste/ smell/ feel
(3) get/ turn/become
(二) 副词： 副词 + 形容词 very nice
动词 + 副词 run quickly
2. 形容词、副词比较级和最高级的构成原则：
(一)单音节和双音节词
（1）--- er/ est

(2 ) 以e 结尾的词直接加r 和 st. nice ---- nicer---- nicest
（3）以辅音加y 结尾的变y 为i，加er和 est.
busy------busier---- -busiest happy----happier----happiest
（4）以单个辅音结尾的重读闭音节，双写最后一个辅音字母，再加er和est.
big/ fat/ thin hot/wet red
（5）特殊:
good/ well-------better------best many/much--- -more------most
ill/ bad/ badly---worse----worst far------farther-----farthest
little ---- less-----least
(二) 多音节词：比较级在前加 more 最高级在前加 the most
E.g. beautiful more beautiful the most beautiful
注: 以形容词加ly 构成的副词, 比较级前加more, 最高级前加(the) most.
3. 两步法：
（一） 识别词
（1）as…as not as/so…as very quite 用形容词或副词的原形
（2）than, A or B, much, a little，even 用比较级
(3) in, of all, of the three, A,B or C , the 用最高级
（二） 动词： 系动词 + 形容词 实义动词+ 副词 （副词== 形容词+ ly）
注意： more 一般构成多音节比较级，much可用来修饰所有比较级

4. 特殊句型：
（1） keep/ make/ find /leave + 形容词原形 keep the door closed make me happy
(2) 比较级 + and + 比较级 越来越…. hotter and hotter
(3) The + 比较级, the + 比较级 越….., 越…… The more, the better.
(4 ) the +比较级+ of the two 两者中较…..者
Lily is the taller of the two. 是两人中较高的一个.
(5) 比较级+ than + any other + 单数名词 与最高级的同义句转换
+ the other + 复数名词
He is taller than any other student in our class.
== He is taller than the other students in our class. == He is the tallest of all in our class.
(6) 倍数的表示
