fall ill “得病，生病” , fall 为系动词。Fall 的过去式fell.

be ill “有病的，得病的” 强调的是一种状态。
fall ill “生病，得病” 强调动作
feel ill “感觉不舒服” 强调的是一种身体感受。

在英语中，有些及物动词可以跟两个宾语，物做直接宾语，人做间接宾语。
