【重难点分析】
1. He is going to visit Beijing . 他将去访问北京。
visit在此句中为动词，意思为“访问”。visit还可以表示“参观、游览、拜访、探望”。例如：
（1）We are going to visit a museum tomorrow . 明天我们要去参观博物馆。
（2）I visited my good friend yesterday . 昨天我拜访了我的一个好朋友。
（3）They are going to visit the Great Wall next week . 他们下星期游览长城。
2. Did you pack your bags last night ? 昨晚你收拾好你的行李了吗？
pack作动词用意为“捆扎，包装，打包等”例如：
（1）He packed his clothes into his suitcase . 他把衣服装入箱子里。
（2）They are packing their bags for the journey . 他们正在为旅行打点行装。
（3）Why are you packing up your things ? Are you leaving so soon ?
你为什么收拾行李？这么快就要走吗？
pack用作名词，意为“行李、包、盒”如：
（4）The hiker carried a pack on his back . 那徒步旅行者背着一包行李。
（5）I want to buy a pack of cards . 我想买一副扑克牌。
3. Did we start packing my bags ? 我们开始收拾行李了吗？
start 作及物动词，意为“开始，后接名词，动名词，和不定式。”例如：
（1）The children start singing . 孩子们开始唱歌。
（2）She is starting to prepare the lunch . 她开始准备午餐。
同学们注意，表示开始“干某事”用start doing和start to do都可以，但下列三种情况一般多用start to do ① 主语为物时，A strong wind started to blow . 一阵强风开始刮了起来。② 动词start为进行时，I am starting to do my lessons . 我开始做功课。③ to后跟的动词表示内心的作用。
如：He started to understand it . 他开始理解这件事情。start组成的短语常用的有start off / out出发。start with … 以……开始
4. They came to say goodbye to us . 他们是来和我们告别的。
say goodbye to sb 向某人辞行。
如：He said goodbye to the host and then got into the car . 他向主人说了声再见然后上了汽车。
类似的表达方式还有say hello to sb向某人问好say sorry to sb 向某人说再见
5. When did we finish packing ? 我们什么时候收拾完的？

finish为动词，意思为“做完、结束、完成等”
例如：
（1）When did he finish his picture ? 他什么时间完成他的画？
（2）We can finish this work tomorrow . 明天我们能完成这项工作。
finish后接动词时用finish doing 例如：
（3）I haven’t finished reading that book yet . 我还没看完那本书。
6. Last year he invented the memory robot . 去年他发明了智能机器人。
invent用作动词意为“发明、创造”名词为invention。
inventor意为“发明者”。例如：
（1）Who invented the computer ? 谁发明了电脑？
（2）Do you know four inventions of ancient China ? 你知道中国古代的四大发明吗？
（3）Edison was a great American inventor . 爱迪生是美国伟大的发明家。
memory为名词意为“记忆、记忆力”。
常用的短语有：have a good memory 记忆力好，have a memory , 记忆力不好。
in memory of 为了纪念 例如：
4）She is old , but she has a very good memory .
虽然她年纪大了，可她记忆力很好。
（5）In memory of him we planted some trees in front of his house .
为了纪念他，我们在他的屋前种了一些树。
7. It listened to everything he said . 它听他说的一切
everything he said意为“他所说的一切。”类似的短语还有everything he did , 他所做的一切，everything he heard 他所听到的一切；everything he saw , 他所看见的一切在此类短语中everything还可以用all来代替，例如：
（1）Write down everything he said = Write down all he said . 记下他所说的一切。
（2）It saw everything he did = It saw all he did . 他看着他所做的一切。
8. I was born on May 18 , 1987 . 我出生于1987年5月18日。
be born意为“出生于”通常用于过去时态，即was / were born .
表示日期有以下几种情况
（1）表示泛指在上午、下午、晚上用介词in 如 in the morning , in the afternoon , in the evening .
（2）表示年、月、用介词in , 如 in 1989 ; in May
（3）表示具体的日期，用介词on , 如：on May 1 st ; 在五月一日on May 18 , 1987 ; on a sunny afternoon 在一个晴朗的下午
9. Good luck with your Chinese ! 祝你的汉语学习顺利。
luck不可数名词意为“运气”。
祝某人好运用Good luck to sb 祝某事顺利用Good luck with sth
不走运用Bad luck luck的形容词为lucky , 副词为luckily
10. Hate the machine follows me everywhere . 讨厌那个机器人到处跟着我。
hate v. 意为“不喜欢、讨厌、恨”没有进行时，hate后可接to do 也可接doing。意义差别不大。只是to do多表示具体的一次性的动作。doing更多表示习惯性经常的一般动作。
例如：
（1）She hates traveling by air她不喜欢乘飞机旅行。
（2）I hate to trouble you . 我真不愿意麻烦你。
everywhere副词，意为“到处”相当于here and there。
