一. 教学内容：
关于“完形填空”题型的解题技巧
（一）题型特点
完形填空是以阅读理解为基础，综合考查学生对英语的词汇，语法，习惯用法的理解和运用，并在此基础上考查学生对整篇文章的分析和判断能力。试题特点如下
1、以考查学生对篇章理解为主
完形填空题首先考查学生能否整体把握所读文章的含义，对文章的逻辑结构，文章的脉络，事件的发展过程等是否能够把握。
2、考查学生的推理判断能力
命题者在命题时，常常设置一些推理判断题，用以测试学生能否根据上下文，故事发展的情节，故事中的人物性格，常识和常理对事情的发展进行推测。
3、兼顾学生基础知识的考查
尽管完形填空以测试篇章结构为主，考查学生的推理判断能力，但由于初中生所掌握的知识以及他们的能力有限，因此在完形填空中还会有相当一部分试题考查语法，词汇，句型，固定搭配和短语。掌握牢固的基础知识非常必要。

（二）解题步骤
因为完形填空不同于单项选择，所以答案必须符合整篇文章。可以分以下步骤进行解题
1细读首句推测意图。推测作者大概要写什么样的故事，并推断文章的题材，预测全文大意及主题
2 通读短文，了解大意。依据首句给予的启示，借助文中关键词语的语义信息，抓住全文的大意。阅读过程中考虑文章是什么内容，抓住五个“w”, when, where, who, what, why。切忌做题时不通读全文，采取边阅读边填空的错误做法。
3首尾兼顾，初定选项。通读全文后，应进行逐句的推敲，从意义上和结构上确定答案的范围。
4 还原复读，查漏补缺。填完后，通读文章，检查句子的词类及搭配，纠正错误，弥补疏漏。

（三）解题方法与技巧
1 论证法 根据上下文的意思，运用所学的词汇和语法知识，从句子结构和意义上进行分析，并判断所选词语是否正确。
2 推理法 根据学生对整篇短文的理解，对文章的主题，情节的发展作出合理的推断。
3 上下文搜索法 完形填空给出的都是整篇的文章，文章本身前后一致。我们可以从上下文中找到提示或发现答案。
4 排除法 如无法确定答案，我们可采取排除法，逐一验证，将错误答案排除，筛选出正确答案。

（四）解题指导
